The fidget spinner was invented in 2017 to bring peace to individuals. These new toys are becoming popular with everyone from young kids to adults. It’s time that we step back and take a look at the toys. When you research fidget spinners, you will see that many schools, have banned them because they are distractions to learning. When do you see someone in class with a fidget spinner what is your first reaction? You get distracted about how cool it is right? Teachers and administration across the world should be against fidget spinners because they are causing distractions amongst the classroom.
There are three reasons why fidget spinners should not be allowed in classrooms. First, there is no scientific proof that spinners help kids with

One moment you could be teaching, and the next moment you could be getting pelted in the back of the head with a spinner. Not only are they dangerous when kids have them they are also loud. When the spinner is spinning you can hear the hum from the ball bearings, one spinner might be all right, but when many spinners are going, they often get too loud. With the fidget spinners, kids start trying to “one up” each other in where they can spin the spinner, how fast they can turn, and how long they can balance it. They become a distraction for the kids in the classroom and can be threatening to other students educations, especially those students who might have a special need or learning disability.
Finally, not every kid in the world needs a spinner. In today’s society kids often want what other kids have. Even if the fidget spinner started out as something to help kids with a fidget problem they have escalated to just being a toy for everyone to have. When one kid has one, and the teacher asks why the student may or may not have the toy, and the student responds that he has a fidget issue it makes other kids make up excuses and reasons to have a fidget toy even if they don’t need
Do you think fidget spinners should be allowed at school, If you are wondering about this, read on to find out. Teachers say that Fidget spinners can be distracting to other kids that don't have one but they are cheap so anyone can buy one. One day children wanted to know whose spinner was going to spin the longest so that brings them together.
Imagine children in a classroom trying to focus on what the teacher is saying. Then the students see this big, flashing, purple fidget spinner. It is very distracting and all of the students end up missing the whole point of what the teacher is saying. Fidget spinners should be banned in classrooms because they are distracting, a safety hazard, and many children are misusing them.
Fidget spinners should be banned in schools by so many injuries from it . As a result of pg.27 “ a boy from Australia got a nasty eye injury from his fidget spinner”.Also it’s difficult to focus on what’s going on around you while looking at a objects that spins. According to pg.27 “Many teachers have told that students tend to focus on all spinning going on instead of working at hand”. Plus they’re similar to bringing toys but just more dangerous to spin with especially in a building full of people.
First, I believe Fidget Spinners should be allowed at school because they help people concentrate. I believe this because, it gives you something to focus on. It helps people who can't sit still have
.Fidget get should not be allowed in school because it causes a distraction in class. One way it causes a distraction is when a teacher is instructing a student brings out a fidget spinner and he or she attention is on the spinner not on the lesson.Second reason why fidget spinner is a distraction by kids have challeges. It is only for people who has ADHD and Autism. So in my opinion fidget spinners should be
Should fidget spinners be allowed at school? Although almost every kid has fidget spinners, we should not allow them at school. To me personally, I think that fidget spinners should not be allowed because they are a distraction, cause problems, and are toys. Some people say that they help them concentrate, and that could be true, but then other kids just mess around and cause problems like stealing other fidget spinners, annoying other people with them, and some even light up. You should take my advice because I have ADHD, and I use to have a fidget spinner.
I think that fidget spinners should allowed in school because some students can stay focus and some can’t. According to the article it said “ fidget spinners bring kids together.” most people don’t really need fidgets to stay focused because either way they're going to talk.
I believe that they should be banned because they are a distraction and they will keep kids from focusing on their work. I also know that no therapist or doctor has proven that fidget spinners are a treatment. Some of the therapist say that kids treat them more like toys then a treatment.People thinks this helps relieve stress, reduce anxiety, and treat ADD or ADHD but really you're just getting some finger workout. The toy everyone is talking about may be fun but nobody has proven it to be a medical benefits. That is why i believe that fidget spinners should be banned from my school.
Last of all, I believe that we should keep Fidget Spinners because they benefit all different types of students in various different ways in the classroom. For example, Fidget Spinners allow the user to focus or pay attention better so, that the student is not focusing on moving or fidgeting around. It also, helps to occupy the child in various ways while still being able to learn without distraction. Finally, I’ve tried Fidget Spinners every once in awhile and I have found them to be surprisingly helpful. I was calm all of a sudden, even just after a couple of spins I just felt so relieved of all of the stress and anxiety.
First of all, schools should have vending machines. If a child did not bring a snack he or she can buy one. Kids might not get as hungry in class. With the money used to buy the snacks the school could raise funds. For these reasons schools should have vending machines.
When evaluating the validity of these job specifications you must conduct a job analysis. CompTech must use statistical evidence to correlate performance with the two job specifications. This will exemplify the quality/usefulness of the requirements. When conducting a job analysis you must collect job related information. It is crucial for CompTech to decide what type of information is to be collected and analyzed. In addition, when collecting this data it is important to know the purpose of action.
The greatest initial collapse of the Enlightenment ideals occurred at the beginning of the 19th century. It was associated with the realization of the limitations of the mechanical-mathematical view of the world and a number of social upheavals, including the bloody French Revolution, which gave birth to dictatorship and terror. These forced to question the possibility of a “social contract.” Moreover, the awareness of the inhumanity of the capitalist system tarnished the ideals of absolute reason and progress. Gradually, the belief in progress and the human mind gave way to pessimism. The paper will assess the rationality of Enlightenment and its perception in the modern world.
I think vending machines should be allowed at schools in America because of these three reasons. To begin with it makes the school money. Another reason is that some students don’t have enough energy to stay awake in class. Also the machines could carry drinks and students can get drink.
Fidgets are a great way to keep children calm and collected, but in order for them to work, there needs to be expectations. For me as an adult, I can get a little antsy if I sit for a long period of time to what do I do? I just grab my phone out and mess around on it. In a school setting that cannot happen. Some different alternatives could be a stress ball, fidget cube, bag of marbles, or tangles, etc. Some expectations for the fidgets can be: keep it somewhere where it won’t be a distraction, use it nicely and properly, and if it gets in the way of work, then it gets taken away. If expectations get set, fidgets can be a great way to keep your student focused and not get over stimulated while getting their work done.
During this semester, we explored many health issues and topics that involve our local community. Out of all the topics, we have learned during this semester the one topic that interests me the most was physical fitness. Since learning about physical fitness, I have a better understanding of the importance of staying active and how it benefits your body and mind. From the video “23 and ½ hours: What is the single best thing we can do for our health?” Dr. Mike Evans explains how exercising for 30 minutes a day, just by walking, can lower your risk of developing cardiovascular disease, obesity, and diabetes (Evans,2011). Also, from the reading “ Health Benefits of Physical Activity,” according to the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans,
