Yesterday marked the ending of 4 LONG years! Through all the mistakes and hardships I've faced, I can proudly say I finally made it! I am so excited to start college in the Fall to Bethune-Cookman University on a full tuition scholarship. I am extremely proud of all my classmates and so thankful for my family and friends. Thank you God for this opportunity many don't get to enjoy. I can't wait to see all God has in store for me!
Congratulations! You have been officially accepted to Motlow State Community College. We have received all of the required admission materials, and your file is now complete.
I am an active member of my school and community. At school I feel that i've gained the respect of my peers being elected as Student Council representative for the past four years. I have also been elected the treasurer of the choir, and secretary of the band. I am part of the Ross Middle School bucket drumming group and have been casted as part of the school theatre’s annual play. After school on Wednesdays I assist Ms. Rullman in helping students with homework and enhancing study methods. I am currently participating in science olympiad and have in the past. I am also an anchor on the popular Good Morning Ross Middle School weekly news show. In addition, I have been a part of National Junior Honor Society which takes part in service projects
That is exactly what I did. I am glad I fought because if I didn't fight I wouldn't be here today to tell you my story that has made me who I am today. Even though I had some difficulties learning in school I didn't get discouraged I tried my hardest and wouldn't give up and because I didn't give up I am currently nineteen years old and about to graduate from high school and have been on honor roll for four years in a row and was inducted into The National Honor Society my sophomore.
Senior year rapidly is coming to an end, I’ve had the opportunity to see many of my friends come to the exciting moment in their life when they sign that dotted line and I was still waiting on my chance. My entire life I had dreamt of the day to finally committed to a college basketball team, this was my goal and it had to be my purpose in life. January 18, 2015 at 4:41 PM I got an exciting text from Truett-Mcconnell’s head coach, Matt Sanders, stating,” Good afternoon Claudia this is Coach Sanders from Truett-Mcconnell College, and I really feel like we need to begin the recruiting process with you! Sorry to bother you on a Sunday, but I just didn’t want to let time slip away! I look forward to hearing back from you!” Here was my chance!

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year here at Washington High School. I’m Mr. Brian Austin and I’m thrilled to be here with you this year. I appreciate the opportunity that Dr. North has given me to lead your school. A little information about myself, I’m coming to you from Mt. Lebanon Senior High School where I was the assistant principal for the last year. Before that I taught in the district for 4 years at the elementary level. Before arriving at Mt. Lebanon, I spent several years teaching at Cornell Elementary School in Coraopolis, PA. I did my graduate program at Point Park University and my undergrad at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I’ve lived my whole life in the Pittsburgh area and currently reside in Forest Hills with my wife Michaelia, and our daughter Gwen.
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you back to another academic year here at Prince George’s Community College. As our students return to campus and our faculty and professional staff prepare for the busy weeks and months to come, I wanted to take a few moments to look ahead to an exciting fall term and beyond, as well as share a few of the College’s highlights from the past year—a year that has seen us continue our growth and evolution into one of the most dynamic and exciting institutions in the region.
How are you doing? This is Will, the tall black guy you would sometimes see in service. I'm writing to say goodbye. My project in Carson City came to an end and I've moved back to Texas. Thank you so much for making me feel at home at Hope. Your messages kept me going while I was in Reno. God used your words to truly bless me and also show me where I need to improve. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye in person, but everything happened so fast.
Going to the twenty fifth annual rivercrest high school class of twenty nineteen reunion, excited and nerves. I’m excited to catch-up with everyone and see what they have made of themselves. Ready to talk to my old school friends and even see a few of my old teachers.
As a member of Virginia Commonwealth University’s (VCU) Leaders Engaging in Advance Discoveries (LEAD), were are expected to complete eighty hours of service over the course of two academic school years. Each semester VCU LEAD students are required to complete twenty hours of service, ten-community engagement hours and ten leadership hours. I believe that having a requirement of participation hours pushes students to get involved on VCU’s campus and the greater Richmond area, introduces time management, as well as influences them to reflect on their new found experiences.
Some people have asked to read the commencement address I delivered this morning to the 2013 graduates of Butler University. So here it is.
We made it through alive! Welcome family and friends to Gunderson High School’s class of 2018 graduation. As a class, we have gone through many ups and downs together. High school is for making unforgettable memories, and that is exactly what we did the past four years. Even though this may seem like the end, it is just the beginning of a new adventure. Whether it is jumping straight into work or a career, community college, a four year university, the army, we are all going to be doing amazing things.
It’s an honor to be here today, standing in front of friends, family, faculty, members of the board, and most importantly, the Sterling High School class of 2017. I’m going to try my best to keep this short because I’m sure most of you, like myself, are sweating profusely, and after all, as my grandfather used to say, “The ears can only listen to what the butt can tolerate.” So, let’s get right down to it.
A place where children from grades two through eight can go and engage in fun activities such as dance, baseball, karate, and homework help is what the kids in Anaheim need. A place where children can go to “hangout” after school, do their homework and be mentored by high school teenagers, college students, and adults who have plenty of experience with working with children is extremely necessary in Anaheim. Luckily there is such a place; it’s Higher Ground Youth and Family Services. The youth in Anaheim need to stay far far away from the dangers of; gangs, drug use, juvenile hall and dropping out of school at young age. This program’s purpose is to help shape the futures of these children, help mentor them, and get them on the right path to success, whether that be going to a four year university, college, or simply just keeping them from getting into serious trouble.
