Our Time The time i spent with him was my favorite. I remember every detail of each individual memory, but my favorite memories were the Autumn memories. The pumpkin patch, the fair, haunted houses, etc. I love our fair memory. We had just gotten back from eating at mcdonalds, we stopped at starbucks and picked up a Autumn themed latte. We got back to his house and laid on the cool ground with the multi-colored leaves surrounding us while we looked up at the pale yet mesmerizing sky with moving clouds. We talked for a while before we left to go to the fair. When we arrived at the fair we grinned like fools. I looked around at all of the bright and colorful lights that wrapped the rides in a blanket of warmth. We went to the first ticket booth we saw and bought a bunch of tickets. We thanked the sweet old woman that we bought the tickets from and went to look around at all the rides we would ride on. We rode a couple rides but took a break so we could buy some delicious food from the fair. We walked to the first food cart we saw and bought a load of food and two bottles of water. I sat at a picnic table, and he sat beside of me. We ate some food and talked with each other for a while. When we finished we went to look …show more content…
We laughed as we waited in line. Before i knew it we were at the front of the line. We handed the old man wearing a deep frown our tickets. We ran up the few steps hastily. I buckled myself in and waited excitedly. As the time went on more people started to pile in on the ride. After a minute the guy went to check and see if everyone was buckled in correctly after he completed his task he got of and started the ride. It went slow and steady at first, but it started to gained speed and height. The higher we got the lower my stomach dropped. I held my hands up and felt the my hair dance in the cool wind. After the ride was over he and I rode more rides than we could
We then walked some more and we decided to get a drink and snack. We went from booth to booth. We saw a chocolate strawberry shop and got some lemonade to go with it. We went and sat under the pavilion and ate. We went and got on this huge ship like swing with a unicorn on the end. I cannot remember what the name of it was now.
We were waiting in line, I was so scared. Dad said, “Go on the ride it will be fun.” Finally it was our turn when we got on the ride we started going up.¨Are you ready?¨”Dad said. I was not feeling great about doing this. When we hit the top we went straight down everyone was screaming. I was so scared but relieved I did it. The rest of the ride
I fell asleep on the ride and some of my nerves went down. We stop somewhere for a restroom break and ate lunch. We all ate lunch and talk about stuff and all, but we talk about Six Flags. They told me that there Is the tallest ride there that are connected to
The car shook and creaked as a motor took us up. For a few seconds, we were at the top. I looked around at the park, but then the car dropped and my stomach went with it. All I could remember from the rest of the ride was my first loop and the adrenaline pumping through my body. When I got off, I was dizzy but I yelled, “THAT WAS AWESOME!” My friends giggled as we walked to our next ride.
We walked around the campus for an hour and half telling each other about ourselves once our conversation
As soon as we pulled up me and my brother Spencer jumped out of the car like we were bungee jumping, although I still kinda felt really sick, but there was no time to chicken out and ruin this perfect day so I sucked it up and went with it. We took the Six Flags bus to get closer to the park. The bus had a circle in the middle that spun so I asked my mom if I could sit there and she said, yes! They were sitting in the front of the bus where I couldn't see them but it didn't matter. I felt like I was already on a roller coaster because every time he would turn a corner I would go flying. I looked out the window and saw the most beautiful tree I have ever laid my blue eyeballs on, in my life. All I could think of is I will never see a tree that beautiful in my life! After what feels like an hour on the bus I get really sick and tired of the “pretend rollercoaster” so I look out the window to see another really pretty tree! “My goodness they have a lot of beautiful trees” I say under my breath and think nothing of it. A few more minutes go by and the
After an hour of waiting in line we finally got on the ride I was so excited. I sat in the front seat of the old run down cart it had rips and tears on the seat. The ride started out slow it was
We both wanted to ride the same thing first so we stood in line and waiting to go on. When we got close to the front you could see the name of the ride it was called fire ball. That name just makes it seem fast the ride was a circle shaped of obesely its going to be fast. So finally they opened that little gate so we could enter, there was these steps you had to walk up then we sat the third seat from the front. Then the ride stared moving side to side it scare me I just sat there terrified and screaming that is how scared I was. Then it started going side to side even fast to were half of the people on the ride were upside down an I was one of them so I stared freaking out and laughing I could control myself then I look over at my sister and she’s screaming her head off. That mad me laugh even more then it stared go even faster and it got to the point were everyone was upside down and there was a moment were when everyone was at the top it stopped and stayed there for a few seconds then finally it went in a couple more circles then it was
There were thoughts of actually dying and that gave me a strong excitement. The ride had begun it was slowly going up at first I could see myself getting higher and watch my mom wave at me. All of a sudden the ride had stopped. It was about to get much faster and at that exact moment my mind went blank. The ride had started going up instantaneously as I started to yell at the top of my lungs. I was faced toward the theme park as I went higher I felt butterflies squeeze my stomach. Once I reached the top the ride it stopped moving. The whole theme park was so small from the top of the ride I was surprised to realize that my mom looked like an ant. The rays of the sun were flashing into my face but I was feeling fantastic. Suddenly, there was a sound of gas release and boom the ride started to go down and things started to get bigger again.
I looked up at the roller coaster and all its' loops and turns and jumped with excitement. "Let's go!", I exclaimed. As we were walking up the stairs, a part of me wanted to turn back, but i was determined to get on this one ride. I stood at the gates, waiting for it to be my turn and before i knew it, I was the next one. I went through the gates and went straight to my seat. Henry sat right next to me and held my hand. I was ready. The ride started to take off and I knew there was no turning back now. Up and up we went. The ground below us got further away. I held on tightly to my boyfriends hand and down we
The next day we went to the boardwalk the boardwalk is a bunch of stores lined up against a sidewalk. After we walked the
Then there it was we arrived at 6 flags. I was so excited because the only rollercoaster I been on was the zippin pippin. So I didn't know what to expect. We ran the gate to get in to get our wristband. Then I heard it the sound of kids screaming it was a amazing. The ride I wanted to ride the most was the super man. It’s a ride where you leaning forward like superman. It took forever to get on the ride. I was so impatient to get on the ride. Then finally we got on the ride. Me and my mom were screaming the whole time it’s was so funny. Then we got of then we went to the raging bull. After we got of the raging bull. We got something to eat I got a chicken srip basket and fries and so did my mom. After we were gone eating the wait I have been waiting all day for the Goliath. The number 1 scariest ride in the world. That line took 3 hour to wait we were on it. Screamed the whole time with enjoyment. When we got of it we went to our hotel and ate supper. Then finally I could open up my present. I got a brand new Orange Mako 2016. I was so excited I was jumping of the wall. Then it was morning and we left the hotel and headed back home. That was so AWESOME I told my mom and she had fun
Memory is defined as "the persistence of learning over time through the storage and retrieval of information." Our memory can be compared to a computer's information processing system. To remember an event we need to get information into our brain which is encoding, store the information and then be able to retrieve it. The three-stage processing model of Richard Atkinson and Richard Shiffrin suggests that we record information that we want to remember first as a fleeting sensory memory and then it is processed into a short term memory bin where we encode it ( pay attention to encode important or novel stimuli) for long-term memory and later retrieval. The premise for the three step process is that we are unable to focus on too much
We had many experiences together as I said before. One I remember most is when we always met and went to Obey River in Pickett county. We went all through the summer, we always knew what out plans were going to turn out to be. We would start by always playing in the water while our parents would get the cookout stuff together. We enjoyed every minute we spent together.
We were almost there. I stood around, bored. Soon after, a few more people in line got on. We would be on that roller coaster that we had been waiting an eternity for very, very soon. First, there was a problem with the ride. Just my luck right? Then, of course after waiting another full eternity for it to get fixed, we were finally about to go on that ride. I was sooo scared, but I had to do this.
