To begin with, when I asked what could improve to have better functioning in the family, Faith who mentioned had stressful relationship with Mable, quickly responded that open communication could benefit and would make positive changes in the family dynamics. Both Rebecca and Mable has agreed to the situation. It could be said that, the relationship with Mable and Faith is still stressful, but would have positive impact if they has an open communication. Faith said that Mable is accusing her for stealing the money from her, but Mable denied it and started to mention something, but could not complete it. If they had open communication about the matter, it could help to avoid the misunderstanding. Moreover, Rebecca did not said anything about, where she could help both of them by having conversation with everyone. Similarly, everyone could open up their stressful relationship with Dan which could help them to understand that he is causing trouble to everyone in the family. This could helped them to avoid him and neglect him from their life. Fortunately, they had decided to open up and is willing to have conversation in the coming session which shows that they could improve their family

Once this was pointed out Colleen put together options to correct or a plan to move forward and a process to ensure this doesn't happen again in the future.

Communicating with Families in Domain 4 is a professional goal I would like to work on to advance my profession as a teacher. This is a goal that I have little to no experience with and feel that I would fall in between the categories of unsatisfactory to basic of this domain. Recently I have the opportunity to be the lead teacher in my practicum class, during this time I had two different parents who came in and volunteered. With my CT being gone it was up to me to answer questions and communicate with the parents. Many times I didn't know how to approach them and relied on the substitute to help me. In fact I felt very uncomfortable because I felt they were critiquing everything I was doing. The most important concept to me for Module Three is Feedback and Counseling, however, I am just going to discuss the feedback portion. Feedback is an imperative part of communication because it can be used to either encourage my Airmen to do something right, encourage them when they have done something right or discourage them from doing something wrong. It can also set my Airmen up for success if done correctly, honestly and if accepted. When preventative and rehabilitation feedback is done appropriately this could have a positive impact on an Airmen’s career.

The main objective of a great facilitator is to development a team that is cohesive and cooperative, producing results that make the group the most effective and efficient unit possible. However, this is not always the case. Building a team that flourishes in any situation can be a daunting endeavor. Many individuals unknowingly lack the skills necessary to be a great facilitator.
