CLIN 49's was submitted for the following peripherals below. I received an email back from (NMCI Workplace HWSW Services ) stating that these peripherals need an ATO letter. Frank and I are scheduled for travel to San Diego on 16-19 Mar for MRIv2 UAT testing. If we don't have an ATO before scheduled UAT testing, this will jeopardized our scheduled UAT testing and possibly move the first 300 MRIv2 seat rollout to the right.
My business is Jenova VII it is a bookstore and we are going to be a part of the community and help it out by teaching kids how to read and since not many young people like to read nowadays we are also going to show them the joy in reading because knowledge is a powerful tool.
The FFA mission statement reads “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve”. The Columbia City FFA Chapter worked to fulfill this mission statement by embarking in a new community service project called Read to Feed with the Indiana FFA Association and Heifer International. Through this program, FFA members were provided the opportunity to impact first grade elementary students by heightening their awareness of international agricultural issues through service and literacy. The chapter partnered with first grade classes from Little Turtle and Coesse Elementary Schools. The first grade students read and recorded their reading minutes, while FFA members were out advocating the event to local businesses to gain their support
In my current position as a CNA at Princeton Medical Center, I have come to appreciate the core values associated with patient centered humanistic care. I have seen the importance of this approach not only in my current clinical interactions, but in my own previous experiences as a patient. These values are ingrained deep within me and I feel very strongly that these values are clearly represented in the mission statement of Penn State PA program. I believe it is important to attend to the patient's medical needs in addition to their emotional/psychological needs as they go through treatment. This humanistic approach enables the patient to trust their healthcare providers resulting in a greater adherence to their treatment plans. I believe
The organization I will focus my assessment on is Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). SNHU is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution with more than 70,000 online students, where I work as a specialized Military Academic Advisor. Southern New Hampshire University, founded in 1932 as the New Hampshire School of Accounting and Secretarial Science, has evolved into one of the fastest growing and most dynamic private, nonprofit universities in the nation (About us, 2017). There are many departments and programs at SNHU, but I will focus on my position as a fully online Military Academic Advisor. The online programs fall under the College of Continuing and Online Education (COCE). I began training in October 2016, and have retained a lot of the latest information and built on that with continued training and mentorship. Our mission says “We exist to make high-quality education accessible and affordable for all. Through our innovative culture and unwavering commitment to student success, we empower students to transform their lives and the lives of those around them” (About us, 2017).
New Belgium has created a mission statement that is implemented in every facility and among every worker within the company. The company embraces the idea that they are a small company and promotes the sale of their products by creating a mission statement that is appealing to customers. A well thought of mission statement serves as a guide for the company and customers to understand the direction the company wants to progress in as well as develop a company purpose (Bartkus, Glassman, and McAfee, 2000). New Belgium’s mission statement is “to operate a profitable brewery which makes our love and talent manifest” (Ferrell and Hartline, 2005, p. 354). Therefore, the mission statement is one way for the company to express how whimsy and fun the
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is an international organization present in 190 countries (Unicef, n.d.). It is an agency focused on the area of maternal and child health. Recently, the organization is providing fresh water and food for mothers and children, education for mothers and girls, and immunization programs for children (Unicef, n.d.). The advantages for this program are the benefits to the education and health of the women and children, but the disadvantages are ability to retrieve funds all the time, and providing care to everyone. They have to have a focused topic, like they do, in order to start to care for the population. There are many issues in the third world countries that go beyond the abilities of one organization,
World War I was unlike any other war before it. The total casualties reached about about 38 million, with over 17 million deaths, 7 million of them being civilians, and 20 million wounded. World War I was well known for the extensive system of trenches from which men of both sides fought, the lethal new technologies unleashed such as poison gas, and for the battles under the sea and in the skies. At first, the two sides consisted of the Allies: France, Britain, and Russia, against the Central Powers: Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey. As the war carried on however, the tides turned towards the Central Powers. Needing help, the Allies turned towards America for assistance. The United States however, were very reluctant at first, sticking to their public policies. Trading with both sides of the belligerents, the United States did not want to halt their booming economy, and the large number of protests by immigrant citizens made joining the war even less desirable. It was only after Britain 's decision to blockade Germany, Germany’s announcement to resume unrestricted submarine warfare, and the British discovery of the Zimmerman Telegram that the United States finally decided to join the war.
As vital organ of vision, the eye, allows us to learn more about the world around us more than any other organ or senses. Sight, the physical sensory experience and vision, the metaphysical concept of how our brain interprets images both work harmoniously and play a huge role in our everyday lives. However, almost a billion people are either blind or visually impaired simply due to not having a pair of glasses. Being able to lead people in the direction of good vision is what developed my interests.
As a communication major with a concentration in public/ corporate relations, I believe Westfield State University should highly consider starting a PRSSA Chapter. This organization is made up of 11,000 students and advisers which are organized into 300 plus chapters in the United States, Argentina, Columbia and Peru. Ever since I began nursing school in 2012 at the University of Texas At El Paso Texas, I dreamt of furthering my education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. During my clinical rotations I received many exposures that showed me insight into the invaluable job Nurse Practitioners offered to their patients. Through my own personal experience having received care by nurse Practitioners has left me no doubt about my desire to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
A mission statement addresses the actions that are needed to meet the organizational objectives of a business goal (Thompson, 2015). Ford Motor Company’s current mission statement is about the response to current challenges that company has experienced in dealing with new market risks, such as the American recession and the global financial crisis that started in the late 2000’s (Thompson, 2015a). Ford’s mission statement is “One Team, One Plan, One Goal (Thompson, 2015a). The company’s mission statement emphasizes teamwork to achieve synergy at Ford (Thompson, 2015a). It is important for Ford to unify all of their organizational stakeholders into one cohesive unit.
Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, India, was founded in 1976 with a goal to offer quality eye care at a reasonable cost. Now as of 1992 there are three locations with a total of 1,224 beds and around 200,000 patients addressed per year. While these numbers are impressive relative to the starting point of the organization, if they continue unchanged it would take approximately 100 years for Aravind to clear the backlog of 20 million blind eyes currently in India, longer with approximately another 2 million blind eyes being added to that number each year. The sheer quantity is clearly is a problem for Aravind to address its mission of eradicating needless blindness in India, and that is not even accounting for any of the outstanding issues existing in the current operational, management and marketing models of the organization. Aravind Eye Hospital has certainly made many achievements since its formation, but further investigation on improvements and innovations must be made in order for the organization to stay relevant to its mission moving into the future.
The mission statement of Ford is not written because in past decades, U.S. vehicle industries have changed dramatically. However, Ford has a vision statement which can be substituted for mission statement, “People working together as a lean, global enterprise to make people’s lives better through automotive and mobility leadership.”
