What are some factors that motivate people? Family and friends motivate people, or if they have a goal they want to reach they will try harder to pursue it.
Does every action have a motivation? Not all actions have motives, but some do.
To what extent can goals and behaviors change as a result of learning? When people learn new things they might find something that sparks their interest and that can alter their goal and behavior towards the subject matter.
Why are some people more motivated than others? Some people might have hobbies they do that motivate them unlike other people and that can cause people to strive for more. Can we learn to be more motivated? Yes, if you learn new things or try finding something you enjoy.

Upon doing more research I found a website that names and explains 6 different types of motivation.
Motivation is based on the will to continue and achieve some means to an end. Whether it would be to wake up in the morning or to finish a doctorate in medical biology, motivation does exist. It exists for all of us and here is the response I can give for ‘what are my motivations.’

People are motivated by a variety of things and often have different motivating factors. Employers should be mindful of individual motivating factors when attempting to motivate staff to increase performance. While some people may be motivated by money, many are motivated by things like: recognition, promotion, and increased responsibility. Once an employer has identified motivating factors they are able to analyze a variety of motivational theories to design and implement a program that will motivate employees to go above and beyond what is expected of them.
In order to ever accomplish something if it is going up the stairs, or getting to college they all have one thing in common. What is it? Motivation. Without it you couldn't do anything you wouldn't have the will to accomplish anything no matter how small. everyone has some kind of motivation in them if it is their parents, wanting more in life or just pure determination.

Sometimes it’s easier for someone else to motivate a person than for that person to motivate themselves, but I believe the theory discussed in the book “MIND OVER MOOD” that a person has to change the way they think in order to change how they feel. If they change their perspective on things their motivations will change too. Motivation to me is this - setting goals, hammering into your mind to finish what you’ve started, associating with motivated people and positive thinkers, and being persistent and patient.
Jay Gatsby manipulates other characters. Gatsby fails to love Daisy Buchanan; instead, he “seems committed to an idea of Daisy that he has created rather than to the real woman she is” (Hermanson 1). This idea of Daisy represents the American dream. Flaunting his money, Gatsby attempts to seduce the idea of Daisy rather than Daisy herself. Therefore, Gatsby deceives Daisy.
One might contemplate an aspect to life may be the pondering existential question; what motivates people to do what they do? The human experience is exceptionally complex due to different variables attributing to our individual experiences. Though each person 's experience is particularly unique to themselves, as a general phenomenon, people seem to have some similarities in experience that bring us together as a bonding universal community.
