Introduction :
A team is made of two or more people who have a certain goal and work together for achievement of that goal, The dynamics of working in a team are extremely important in a oraganization. In school, in different activities, we learned the basics of working in a team. In order to work in a team to be more productive and successful, you need to be able to accept the difference between people opininons and to create balance between ideas.
Team development stages
In order for a team to function it passes through several stages. Bruce Tuckman has made a research about stage development of teamwork. He has identified four stages of group development.
These stages include: forming stage, storming
Tuckman in his "Stages of Development' model identified 5 stages of team formation: forming, storming, norming, performing and adjourning (CIPP, Unit 1). Based on his analysis and characteristics of each stage it becomes possible to recognise that the team has reached the stage of 'Performing'.
