Intro: Classism was and still is a huge issue in the world today.So as demonstrated in the book “Sold” by Patricia McCormick there are other girls and people whose class decides the path that they take in life.The way of being affected by class has given the feeling that “no matter what they do in life they will never be able to succeed and show the others that nothing is impossible”.Also, what these people do for money has made the people of a higher class use them for really bad things,some of them no one ever dream of doing.“But today she hangs her head like the paddy plants and says, "Maybe tomorrow." “(Patricia McCormick,23).They get tired of their lives and eventually break down not able to take it anymore.
