The story has many examples of allegories. Many people when asked to explain what an Allegory is, probably wont know what to say. An allegory is “a story, poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one.” The main example of an Allegory in Beowulf, is the meaning of loyalty, in many parts of the story, loyalty either got the characters, killed, or kept them alive.
