I am auditioning to be an officer because I believe I can make Company a great experience for everyone on it and be a strong leader and representative of Cottonwood Dance. I think that having a strong leader is fundamental to the success of a group. My physics teacher, Ms. Richey, is someone I look up to as a leader; she makes class fun and engages us while still clearly getting the information across. She is also very confident in her abilities and will straight up shut you down (kindly) if you are trying to make up a physics scenario that is not possible. She is so intelligent yet fun that I aspire to be like her when I have to be a leader. I believe I am qualified to be an officer this year because I have had a couple of different …show more content…
Tying into the reliability I mentioned above, I also plan on updating the board inside the dance room each month with new pictures and the upcoming events. I hope that this will act as a way for everyone in the dance program to see what is happening in Company, and I hope that Company members will use it as a way to see where they need to be or what they need to do on any given day that month. Overall, I believe that Company needs to be organized, to work well as a team and get along with one another, and to be able to solve problems effectively. With organization, I think that each day we should have a set schedule as to what we are going to do and for how long; additionally, I think we need to really sit down the class period before a performance and talk about who is bringing what (i.e. makeup or props) so that nothing is forgotten. This will make everything less stressful. As for teamwork and getting along with each other, I think we need to periodically do team building activities throughout the year to strengthen our relationships with each other. To address problem solving as a team, I think we need to have “come to Jesus” circles slightly more often, especially if it has to do with the behavior of Company members. I think it is a good way to really fix the problem without the solutions just going in one ear and out the other. For more one on one problems between members, I think that members should know
There are a lot of graduates fresh out of high schools that make the decision to use the military. There are some people that join the military because that is a fast and easy choice for them. The military gives everyone a wide variety of options. College for instance, the military allows you to serve your country and still have time to attend college and get a degree if you choose to do that. People that choose to join the military get the option to go to college anytime they feel during their military career. The military pays for part or all the tuition. The military has four different branches, Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marines. Each branch offers different trades. Air Force for example, teaches people to fly, have mechanical skills,
I am very persistent. Once I set my mind to something, I strive for it until I achieve it or it has proved impossible for me to obtain my goal. It was once my goal to join the Army. Although I was overweight, I worked until I made the correct weight limit and kept trying to join until they told me I couldn't join because I had eczema as a child. I believe that I should always try my hardest and do my best as much as possible in every situation.
Ideal- The Marines Embody more of my personal views and ideals then the other branches of the armed services.
wish to join the Police Department because I'm ready to undertake a job which requires hard work. I'm a very hard worker and I'm ready to put all my skills to the test, I know that the Los Santos Police Department needs people that work hard and are determined to complete the task at hand which is why I'm applying because I believe that I have those qualities and skills . I also hate seeing people losing their possessions that they worked very hard for it . I've experienced this happening to me a lot growing up in San Fierro and I had always wished that there would be a cop at the scene every time I got robbed. However, now that I've met the age requirement to join the Los Santos Police Department, I'd like to be a cop so that I could stop
Growing up as a kid I always wanted to make the world a safer place, I always had a desire for protecting people. Being a State Trooper was one of the careers that I can actually do what I love. I can see myself serving in protecting the people on the highway in Florida, I’m willing to move anywhere in the state of Florida so I can protect people. I know that it's a gigantic risk on my life, but I'm willing to take it. Although, the salary isn't much which is one main factor in life, I feel that it's not even about the salary it's more about the desire you have for the job and the people you are protecting. The qualifying to become a state trooper consists of United States Citizen with a High School diploma and minimum of 19 years of age at the time of application (there is
I have been surveying my options regarding my present and future career plan. As I consider various paths, one option remains outstanding and seems to fit my personality and my skill set to a tee. This option is that of the possible advancement within my region, as I hope to become promoted to a noncommissioned officer. The following essay will summarize the reasons as to what I believe makes a good noncommissioned officer, why I fit these criterion and for which reasons I wish to become an NCO.
There are lots of ways to further your education. Most everyone instantly thinks about college as the next step in their education after high school. Some people just simply aren’t ready for college yet, or do not think that it is their thing. The next thing people consider is to join the workforce out of highschool. That is not always the best idea because you do not get any education by doing so. A better way to further your education would be to join the military. The military can give you education in things that no college is able to, help with expenses (including helping pay for college while you serve), and has an interesting daily lifestyle that is unique and different than college would be. The job I want to do in the military is to
I want to become an Army officer because I long for a career that will provide continual professional development opportunities while pushing me to reach my full potential as a leader, and will also position me to make a positive impact globally. I believe that by becoming an Army officer I can accomplish this because I have seen the success of those that have gone before me. I come from a family of people who have served in our nation’s military, and their lives are a testimony to the renowned individuals that the Army produces.
The United States Army is one of the main factors that allows America to be a free and democratic country. The Army defends, protects, and honors the United States of America. Ever since I was a young boy, I saw greatness in the United States Army and hoped to one day be a part of it. I always envisioned myself in a leadership position and when I decided to join the Army, I knew being an officer was for me. To me, being an officer in the U.S. Army is a career unlike any other. There are many opportunities as an officer in the Army to advance, further education, and grow as a person. The army allows you to switch your MOS and attend more training to further education or to change careers completely which is something
I would be eligible for this occupation because I love to be active, and I was in cross country. I am able to run long distances without taking a break. My relatives were in the army like my great grandpa who participated in both of the World Wars. My grandpa used to be in the Vietnam War; he talks about it a lot in his spare time. My family has been in the military, but some of my past relatives have. The US Airborne provides excitement, education, opportunity, and competitive wages.
Concerning the Board of Representatives, Board of Employees, and Human Resources, these teams will need to work in tandem to be effective. These three teams should be making decisions together, and rapidly implementing the unanimous decision. These decisions should focus on the long-term picture, not the short-term picture, even if sacrifices will need to be made. The Board of Representatives should constantly be watching with their own eyes to ensure production is being carried out in a proper manner. The Board of Employees should be concerned with making employee tasks standardized, and work to continuously improve the level of standardization. With standardized tasks and work evenly spread across employees, employees will feel empowered to succeed. To avoid wasting time and resources, the focus should be on building quality first, rather than worrying about fixing problems later. Your company should only be using reliable, thoroughly tested technology that serves your people and processes. You should also provide visual controls so no problems are hidden. Remember, quality is “key”.
The reason why I want to attend the U.S. Service Academies is not only the goldmine of opportunity I will receive of an educational standpoint including benefits, but also the enrichment of character and self-development, into becoming one of the nation's most exemplary citizens through attending a military academy.
Firefighting is a career that can make you feel proud and accomplished, and it is a career in which I have a lot of respect for. In order to be a firefighter you must be in shape, prepared, experienced, and ready to deal with your job emotionally as well as physically. I chose to be a firefighter because I want to be able to help others and make them feel safe to live in their communities.
What should we do in life? That always seems to be the question. Life is not guaranteed to be easy, never turning out the exact way that we want it to. A lot of people work hard to achieve their dreams of making a massive amount of money and having more than a seven percent return on their 401k plan. Truth is, life is not about the amount of money that we have saved up, it is about what we do to make a difference and how we will make our lifetime worth it. Something that people should set into place is a plan for their future. A plan that would help not only directs their path in life, but the paths of those around them too.
In the world we live in today, experiences shape and mold a person. Our unique passions, our different cultures, and our individual experiences create a beautiful and distinct story that is purely our own. For me, this experience has been the constant presence of the United States Coast Guard in my life. My father has been serving in the Coast Guard for twenty years, and because of this experience, I will never be able to answer the seemingly simple question “Where are you from?”. However, I feel so grateful for this lifelong experience, for it has taught me to be patient and open minded, responsible, adaptive, and excited for change and has deepened my love for travel and adventure.
