After Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, the Americans decided to place the Japanese who lived in America into the camps. The camps were a poor place to survive, and even after the war, the government never gave their properties back. So, was placing the Japanese into the camps a good idea? In my own opinion, it seems good enough to place the Japanese, because it was during the war, and when the war happened, people cannot trust anyone until the war ends. Also, the American government should have a plan for the war, because Japan could attack other places. That means America cannot take care of the Japanese who lived in America. Mainly, if the government had supplies to spend on the Japanese who lived in America, they should be spending those supplies to their military, because they ought to protect their own country. If they spend too much on supply for the Japanese, they would not be able to fight back to the Japanese, and the enemy was Japan. So, placing the Japanese into the camps was fair enough for them, because the Japanese should have been arrested by the government. During the 20th century, the American citizens were scared of the Japanese, even though those Japanese lived in America. So, the government has to find every single Japanese who lived in America and hold them for their citizens. The …show more content…

Because America is such a huge place to live, even the government cannot catch every thief. It is not sure if a thief stole the Japanese’s property or not, but during the war, no one would care about unknown Japanese’s property, because it was during the war and the American was in chaos. For example, let’s say there was nice tables on the ground, who would not like to take those tables? Some people would sell those tables, because one day, the owner could come and take that tables.
