Many people who are immigrants are living in fear because they are afraid of finding a job and giving their sons a chance at an American dream. So many people are living in this country undocumented and they are working hard for an American dream too. This is why undocumented residents should get a path to get legal by the government. There are so many reasons why immigrants should get a path to citizenship and here are just a few reasons why immigrants should get a path to citizenship out of all the reasons why.
One important reason that there should be a path citizenship is that immigrants could boost economics. According to Upfront Magazine 2016, immigrants should get a path to citizenship because far too many people cross the borders,

As Senator Charles E. Schumer stated “11 million immigrants continue to live in a state of uncertainty and fear.” Charles E. Schumer is proving my claim because he is saying that not just some immigrants are afraid of getting deported everyday but most immigrants are afraid of getting deported. Of course it is possible to disagree that people are living in fear and instead say that many immigrants have jobs and travel around the United States. However, the weight of the evidence is on the other side. What must be remembered is that both natives have the same motivation to support their families and grow the economy. This is fundamentally why immigrants should get a path to citizenship so they could stop living in fear and so they could boost the economy.
The third reason why immigrants should get a path to citizenship is because families will be torn apart. Charles E. stated in the text “Without reform, our immigration laws threaten to tear apart families and force the government to expend precious resources to deport millions. What he is saying here is that immigrants shouldn’t be deported now that they are here and we should at least give them a chance to “Earn their daughters and sons a chance to the American
Immigration has modernized America’s workforce, economy, society and culture. Each group of newcomers brings optimism, hope and determination in pursuing the American Dream. Each group makes America more diverse and stronger. Immigrants are people who come from another country and move to a new one. An illegal or undocumented immigrant is a foreigner who enters or lives in a country unlawfully or without the countries authorization. In the US, immigrants are people who risk their lives to make the journey to America in search of a better life and future. Those who came to America between 1892 and 1954 had to go through Ellis Island. Ellis island helped more than 12 million people become immigrants and more than 40 percent of current US citizens can trace at least one of their ancestors back to Ellis Island (History1). People came for different reasons and in the 1910s many “Jews escaping from political and economic oppression in czarist Russia and eastern Europe and Italians escaping poverty in their country”(History1), came to the US in search of a better life. They left their homes for many reasons including “war, drought, famine and religious persecution, and all had hopes for greater opportunity in the New World”(History1). My family came through Ellis Island and endured the long journey by boat across the Atlantic along with millions of other people and their families too. I have a few friends who are abiding in America on visas and had to make the journey to
The last reason why undocumented immigrants should get a pathway to citizenship is because we are a land of hope. The reason why i say that we are a land of hope is because life is way harder in many other places and they hope that we are a a better life for them.If immigrants werent hear what whould you imagine our states should be,I better place or a worst
One important reason that immigrants should have a path to citizenship is that the United States of America is a country filled with immigrants. We are are the land of freedom and opportunity. And according to Senator Charles E. Schumer Upfront Magazine 2015 he had stated ¨My home is in Brooklyn, I can see the statue
Immigration has been going on for a long time because of the struggles people have in their native countries. Immigrants come to this country because they feel America has more to offer and that they can find their “Utopia” here. All immigrants who come to America find a way to overcome conflicts and achieve their dreams in different ways. Some immigrants that are mixed with multiple races have two sides to think about when they talk about their America dream.
Another controversial assumption made by advocates who want to see a change in birthright citizenship is that unauthorized immigrants and their U.S. born children place a drain on many social resources. When an unauthorized immigrant has a child born in the U.S., that child has access to all the social resources that U.S. children born to legal citizens are entitled to. It is believed that undocumented immigrants do not pay taxes and come to America with the sole intentions of living on welfare. Evidence provided by the Social Security Administration, contends that there are taxes that cannot be matched to workers’ names and social security numbers. This is also known as a “suspense file” and it has grown by twenty billion dollars in recent years. Migrants and undocumented immigrants contribute more in taxes and social contributions than they will ever receive in individual benefits (Van Hook and Fix 2010). Immigrants earn about $240 billion a year, they pay about $90 billion a year in taxes but only use roughly $5 billion in public benefits (Van Hook and Fix 2010). In

America is traditionally a country of immigrants. Very few people today have relatives who were Native Americans, many of them because of religious persecution, and others because of they were just looking to start a new life on the exciting untouched frontier. For instance, in Florida, the first arrivals were European, beginning with the Spanish explorer Ponce de Leon who explored the land in 1513, following French and Spanish settlement during the 16th century. From the past, America was seen as a country of opportunities. People from all over the world have moved here looking for better opportunities. There are a lot of reasons why immigrants should live in this country, but I would like to mention three of them.
A third reason for legalizing illegal immigrants is that everyone deserves equal rights as human beings. Many people migrate from their own country to the United States because they seek better opportunities, freedom, and rights. An example is Mexicans, they account for more than half of the illegal immigrants in the United States with a number of 6.1 million people. Almost half of Mexico 's population lives in poverty, which is one of the major factors for why Mexicans migrate, they wish to provide for their family and for some the only way to do that is by finding work in the United States. It would be useful to consider the downside of implementing strict immigration laws. Many people argue that the immigrants are usually skilled labor and they help increase
At the core of people's reasons to oppose immigration is fear, that derives from years of falsehoods being passed down as truths. People will accuse immigrants of taking their jobs, being crime-prone and being a net fiscal cost. People think that jobs undocumented immigrants have could have gone to an American citizen. FAIR estimates the number of undocumented immigrants in the workforce is about 8.5 million. People are worried that when immigrants come to the U.S. and get a job they are stealing an opportunity from a citizen that needed it. Nowadays this concern is growing since the more years pass it seems like the middle class is slowly disappearing leaving only the rich and poor which people associate with the growth in the undocumented immigrant population. The United States of America has millions of illegal and legal immigrants more than people that born in the country. Our country has received many immigrants since 1600s with the pilgrims and continued in the time of industrialization. Many of those immigrants were searching religious freedom and better opportunities. But they faced racial discrimination, low pay rate, and didn’t have opportunities to find better jobs. Now in our times, people still immigrate illegal and legal in our country. They are people just like us and they need to be treated right and fair. The United States should help illegal immigrants to have the same and equal rights that citizens and shouldn’t be punished for where country they come from.
Immigrants have the rights as any civilian out in the world and should be respected because they also have rights. Not everyone respects immigrants as they should be respected and one major politician is Donald Trump. This very country that we step on everyday expects something good to come out of was created this way by immigrants. The rights of immigrants should be respected as of any other person who has rights. Everybody has rights and those rights were put by the government and they were made into laws. The law is important and one thing that keeps this country going.

Today the Society is split into three separately minded groups. In no specific ordering, the first is determined to believe that any one person born in the United States is a citizen and which means their parents should become citizens along with them. These are the ones whom obtain “birthright citizenship” (Raul). The second are firm believers in the only ones that should be citizens are the ones who go through the proper process of becoming a citizen and according to the article in “USA today,” it states that illegal immigrants are “having babies as a way to obtain citizenship,” which too many Americans “cheapens the whole idea of being American”. The last group is the “other” the ones whom are completely neutral or believe in the
I myself experience that feeling since I was nine years old. My parents and Me move to the United States back in 2004 since then the fear has taken over our lives. In an article that I read it also say that immigrants risk their lives trying to go get to the desire new country. They even hide in trucks and so immigrants also come legal and then they stay in the country. The article also communicated the readers that sometimes the price of the process made it difficult for the immigrants to fix their situation. All this situation makes it very difficult for their families because a deportation could segregate their
Debate over immigration and immigration policy is not new to the nation's history. For a long time, Congress debated legislation to control the immigration problem. As immigration rises and hatred grows more laws will be carried out trying to release some of the pressure. Immigrants offer cheaper labor to businesses. Immigrants do not get minimum wage, but instead they get paid lower, this gives the business an edge over other competitors.
