Book Review : Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Dog Days Diary of a wimpy kid : Dog Days is another riveting book wrote and illustrated by, Jeff Kinney. It is the fourth book in the series. If you’ve ever read the wimpy kid series you’ll end up with a clear summary, Gregory Heffley is a lazy middle-schooler. He has two brothers, Rodrick (his older brother) and Manny(his younger brother). Greg has a friend named Rowley Jefferson. Rowley’s family is considered to be rich. Rowley is one of those emotional kids. Rowley considers Greg as his best friend but the two of them constantly get into an arguments which can separate them for a ‘while’. In Dog Days, Greg expects to stay home all summer and do nothing but play video games. His mom urges him to try to get out of the house, but he doesn't buy it because he's learnt from experience. When he and Rowley go to Rowley's country club, they bring a girl, Trista, along, but then she starts talking to some lifeguard and ignores the people who took her there. One unlucky day, Rowley's dad shows up at Greg's house and expects Greg to pay for all the smoothies he's ordered at the country club. Greg and Rowley start a lawn mowing business. He assuredly wants a pet dog. After he does get one, he has second thoughts about the pet. At first he thought a dog would be fun/loving to have around. Infact, Gregory first referred it as a mate.
