Being a chef goes above and beyond what the average person might expect. Beginning a journey into the culinary arts and making a career out of it requires endless hours of practice as well as laborious work. While some people are born with an intuition of what flavors that pair naturally and how to assort them, in the current state of the profession, it is integral to have the right qualifications (“What Does a”). This however, is not the only qualification; you must also have a passion for the career as well as a tolerance for what it requires (“What Does it”). For example, you are required to obtain superior time management skills. This includes, making sure that nothing is cooked too extensive a time period or too short, and that all the food is prepared for a table simultaneously. In addition, taste is not always what is principal. A majority of the dishes’ personality pertains to how you present it. The visual aspect is just as important, if not more so, than how the food actually tastes. “Visual is extremely important, involving how food is plated and arranged, ideally displaying different textures and colors. A professional chef is an artist and the plate is the canvas (“What Does a”).” After reading this quote it is easy to understand just how monumental the presentation aspect of a dish can be, and also how exciting presenting can be for someone with artistic intuition. While presentation and time management are exceedingly important, it is also important to have quality people skills. Being a chef means collaborating with people that may not always be the most friendly in the kitchen, as well as addressing people who may not present the kindest criticisms about the food outside the kitchen. Growing up as a little boy I’ve always wanted to become a culinary arts top chief. That’s because I’ve been in the kitchen helping/working with my mother preparing a lot of different meals, and I found that really enjoyable that I can cook. I am still not even sure how many years of education are required to specialize in culinary arts, also in comparison to the professional chefs I am still a beginner, yet some may even consider me inexperienced. Some reasons I want to get a degree in culinary arts is because I am creative I like food and I think cooking is fun. Also, because I do a decent job at it and some of the smells are wonderful. Creativity is a good skill to have in culinary, It is a good skill to have because, you want to put your own twist on things and make things your own by adding a pinch of this or a pinch of that.

Michael Ruhlman gave readers a glimpse of life within the Culinary Institute of America, which is the most critical culinary school in the United States. Nothing is left to instinct or assumed information, everything is shown whether it is with culinary maths or precisely how you lay out unresolved issues for the ideal stock. Everything was just striven to be excellent, not good, nor O.K., but miraculously perfect.
Cleanliness is especially important for women; no one wants to go into a restroom that has nasty, unsanitary toilets. Having a nice waitress is a big impact on a family’s dining experience. If you have a rude waitress, it ruins the whole meal. If you have a family, affordable prices are convenient because you don’t have to worry about leaving the restaurant broke! Lastly, good food, it makes or breaks your dining experience. This is mainly good for women seeking delicious and cheap meals for their families.
Culinary art is a momentous part of my life.When I was around the age of nine I was living with both my mom and dad. I was always in the kitchen helping my mom cook dinner. I made baked ziti, empanadas, sweet potato pie, and other foods.When I was in high school, I lived with my father,and after my older siblings grew up it was just me and my little sister so I was responsible for cooking the meals. I was cooking for my family an average of seven days a week and I was never tired or bored, I enjoyed it. I developed a strong passion for culinary arts. I am passionate about it because it excites me, inspires me, and encourages me to open a restaurant.
When I think about what I want to do after high school many things come to mind, like music, or photography, but the one thing that stuck in my mind was cooking. There is no doubt that the Phoenix is one of the biggest city in the United States. It has the rich resources and good populations. We can always have fun here during my free time. Being an international student who is studying here, the food here is always the most important thing I worried about. Since I came here, I had tried so many foods here and I think each food own their independent style. Whatever what kind of food they from, I think they both good.
