Kairi Maybe, just maybe, Kairi was creeping. Of course, creeping is such an unattractive word. Sure she may have followed Tsuna and Gokudera to some isolated place at the school and sure she was just casually ease dropping, but she had a justified reason for this. She really did. It was the only way Kairi was getting anything from Tsuna. He wasn’t really avoiding her, not really. But there was some sort of apprehension towards the way he acted. It was because he was so uneasy that Tsuna created a wall between them, a wall that shouldn’t even exist in the first place. Of course, it pissed Kairi off when she first realized it. He promised her he would tell her later. Later ended up being far longer than Kairi imagined and Kairi was starting …show more content…
He pretty face and even nicer hair. But he was just too strange. He referred to her as his older sister when she has never met the boy before in her entire life. It’s not like Kairi had bad memory or anything and considering how the boy was dressed, she was sure she would remember someone as memorable as him. The female Hibari left her hiding place and stood in the open. She saw Tsuna’s expression from the corner of her eye. He was shocked to say the least. The heiress made no move to look him in the eye and instead chose to focus her attention to the situation in front of her. “Do I know you?” asked Kairi. She crossed her arms, waiting for an explanation. “Hm…” The stranger gave a curious gaze. “I wonder, did I spill a secret of Decimo’s?” Decimo? It sounded Italian. No one was Italian here except for Gokudera. Which meant— Grey orbs landed onto Tsuna’s form. He gave his unusual shriek of his before covering his mouth in guilt. It always seemed to tie back onto Tsuna now a days and it was getting tiring hearing about it. “Kairi, I’m sorry. I’ll tell you—” “Later, right?” Kairi gave her best friend an empty smile. “Don’t worry Tsuna, your eyes told me
“I don’t know” Phoenix smiled back “I was hoping maybe you’d stay up here with me while I go through some of it so I’m not by myself in case something goes wrong”
Although ignored greatly in the franchise, Kairi is one of the most important characters in the game. With Sora and Riku constantly going through different ways to save her, it was not only cute, but implemented carefully in the game. Kairi alone, is a very annoying character, but on the contrary, her plotline with Sora was a tearjerker, whether it be their goodbye, or even the montage at the end of the first Kingdom
“I’m afraid she’s still away, I have yet to hear from her or her bodyguards.” Kragen responded.
I can’t believe it is already time to write a Kairos letter to the youngest of my 3 daughters. Your high school years have flown by. Sometimes it is difficult for the youngest to carve out a unique place in the family and stand out in their own right. However, this is definitely NOT the case for you, Maria. You are remarkable. Your strength, resilience, self-acceptance, and intelligence are unparalleled amongst your peers. Although life has thrown you some physical curve balls, you have met each and every challenge with courage and perseverance. When others might have thrown a tantrum, felt sorry for themselves, or relied on others to carry the burden, you have brushed yourself off, gotten back up and moved forward. Although your determination
“Yeah, I don’t mind. I don’t quite know where I’m heading next.” Raegan said in a calm tone.
"~I'll talk to you later~" She dropped her arm and the A.I dissipated. I shook my head and looked to Smithy.
“I don’t know. Maybe you will, maybe you won’t. We’ll just have to wait and see.”
"No, my Lord. She is listening in, I'm sure, and with her origins, the creature you seek is a daemon she has probably dealt with."
“No, I will.” It had been my responsibility to look after Koia, and it was my fault she was lost.
An event that clearly marked my transition from childhood to adulthood was the truly eye-opening experience of attending a Kairos retreat. For those unfamiliar with Kairos, it is a four-day religious retreat in which you and a small group of students come together to more learn about God, themselves, and others in a setting that completely removes you from the daily distractions and stresses of the outside world. Everyone, including myself, was able to share the personal stories about the struggles that they have faced and are continuing to face every day of their lives and offer support to others that may be going through similar things. We laughed together, we cried together, and we created strong relationships and friendships with people, some of which we hadn’t spoken a word to or even known by
Kairi kept looking at Tsuna with a look that meant she wasn’t going to budge. The boy relented to her stare. “Fine, but only in the neighborhood.”
“Sorry you had to pry. But not for nothing; he did say how good his coffee was today,” Gladio casually remarked.
Evil is a subject on which most tread lightly, saying what they think is true and not questioning what it is. Who decides what is evil? Perhaps no one thing is completely evil. Perhaps each person decides what is evil in his eyes. One person might believe that someone is evil, and another person might believe that the same someone is good. This would mean that evil is relative depending on where you live, who you are, or what you believe. For example, Kim Jong Il, the dictator of North Korea, is evil in the eyes of most Americans, but those who live under his rule praise him above nearly everything. But then, are some things truly evil? If those in North Korea would see the world from our eyes, would they not think the dictator evil? So maybe
Imagine living through a time like the Russian Revolution? Well these animals did. One of the goals in Animal Farm was to portray the revolution as one that resulted in a government more oppressive than the other before. Orwell includes characters and events parallel to those in history communicating its problems affecting society and its ideas. Orwell communicates the problems of the Russian people as he resembles the rise of Stalin where the ideals of justice, equality, and fraternity begin to shatter. Through the language, the farm soon becomes lost and the ascension of Napoleon’s dictatorship is made possible. He also uses a character known as Squealer to whom the animals listen to in order to push
Telecommuting can be great for organizations but there are also some disadvantages and challenges in offering telecommuting. According to (Martochhio, 2013), Telecommuting programs may also lead to disadvantages for employers and employees. Some employers are concerned about not having direct contact with employees, which makes conducting performance appraisals more difficult. Some employees also feel isolated because they do not personally interact as often with coworkers and superiors. Some organizations may feel unsure about allowing employees working at home, because when you have internet or computer issues, getting your system back up and running efficiently and effectively can be an issue. There can be a lot of wasted time trying to get your system back up and running and this can ultimately cost the company time and money. MedEx employs over 100 medical billing specialist, therefore, it is important for all of their employees systems to be up and operating at all times. Their daily jobs are intense and consist of working on specific accounts, coding medical
