What is an Eruv? An Eruv is a ritual enclosure (usually around a small town and now big cities) that is constructed by setting up two poles and then a string on top of the two poles. This was created because during the Sabbath Jewish religion law prohibits carrying, toting and pushing any object outside of one’s home. So activities like pushing a stroller, totting a diaper bag and even carrying food to a friend’s house would be forbidden during the Sabbath (Friday to Saturday). This domain enclosure brings freedom and better quality of life to Orthodox Jews on the Sabbath. The controversies and conflict from an Eruv is it opens the doors for more orthodox Jewish people to move in these areas where Eruv’s are erected, which gives them a better

RVUCOM’s innovation and robust curriculum, specifically the incorporation of ultrasound training is the key reason why I wish to attend RVUCOM. RVUCOM is one of the few osteopathic medical schools in the country that fully integrates the ultrasound training throughout the entire 4 year program. My keen interest for less invasive techniques arose after working the emergency room as a medical scribe. I was under the tutelage of several ER physicians who all happen to complete an ultrasound fellowship. It was through them, did I realize the simplicity and powers of this technology. It has the ability to quickly assess and identify medical ailments in a matter of seconds, especially in trauma situation. This very experience as a medical scribe

Drugs have the ability to alter the transmission of a neuron that causes a person to change their state of being. These drugs may have some medical uses that may treat diseases or elevate moods, however there are some drugs that are used recreationally that also elevate moods but do not offer any medical usage. For other living beings, they are used for self-defense against other predators and these chemicals that inject can also alter the state of mind and even death.
There was a high food shortage in 1946 and this caused many to ration. World War II left a deep wound in India as two and a half million Indian soldiers were sent to aid the allies and 24,000 killed. Many were unemployed as they lost their jobs after the war since there was no need for war production. Gandhi’s party, Indian national congress, created in 1885 seemed it would be the power that ruled after Britain left. This changed, however, as the All Muslim league became popular during World War II. Muslims were a minority compared to the Hindus. The Partition of 1947 created Pakistan, where the Muslims would live, and India, where the Hindus would live.
Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism are religions that developed in the East. Although each of these religions possess characteristics unique to itself, they share one thing in common in that they are all religions. Their classification as religions depend on the definition of the word: religion. Webster's Dictionary defines religion as “The outward act or form by which men indicate their recognition of the existence of a god or of gods having power over their destiny, to whom obedience, service, and honor are due.” Frederick Streng's attempt to define religion as, “a process whereby people reach beyond themselves to connect with the true and
Congress is the national legislative body of a country. The main functions of Congress are lawmaking, representing the people, performing oversight, helping constituents, and educating the public. However, Congress is said to do not do much lately. Nonetheless, they still pass important bills every now and then. The United States uses bicameral legislature, which there are House of Representatives and a Senate with Republicans with majorities. Usually, they do not agree on policy. Yet, recently, President Barack Obama just signed a bill to law, which is H.R.3700, the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act.

Guardians of six African American elementary school children, in San Francisco filed a suit against the California Department of Education in 1971. Eris has become increasingly popular over the years, as many new things have been discovered. Eris ,known as a dwarf planet, got its name from the Greek goddess Eris herself. Eris was named this because there was numerous amounts of discord between the name itself and the classification. An example of discord of the classification was whether or not it should have been a planet or dwarf planet but due to the reclassification of Pluto it also affected the classification of Eris causing it to become a dwarf planet. However this did not result in a decline in the popularity/attention in which this unique planet received. This planet still is special as it is “the most massive and farthest dwarf planet ever known.Eris is 96.4 astronomical units
I am taking EEB 121 because one of my favorite class is Life Science 3. Life Science 3 introduced molecular biology and biochemistry. Therefore, I took EEB 121 to further expand my knowledge about molecular biology. I believe that EEB 121 will give me new perspective about molecular biology because the class focus on evolution, rather than just explanation of different process. Therefore, EEB 121 will provide another reason to appreciate life and its complexity. Furthermore, EEB 121 will help me in my Biochemistry class. I noticed how the topics from EEB 121 and Biochemistry are somehow correlated.
I was devastated to hear that only ten students were allowed into ENG 102 for the spring semester, but this is my opportunity to show you that I deserve to be put in ENG 102. I believe I should be one of the ten students to advance into your ENG 102 class because I think I have what it takes. I have ambitions and dreams and if I don’t graduate because of this class they will just burn to ashes in the back of my mind. Hopefully you will be persuaded by the end of this essay, and you will end up putting me in your 102 class.
