An argument always erupted when the word, marriage, was mentioned. He would try to avoid the topic by changing the subjects. Sometimes you would question him, other times you wouldn’t. He never gave you a direct response when you asked, but this time you heard him and you weren’t the one who asked him. You were going to surprise him, but after hearing his conversation with Jay, you weren’t sure if you wanted to see him. “You two have been dating for a while now, did you ever consider marriage?” Simon laughed and shrugged. “I don’t know, I just don’t want to marry her because of the age gap.” “Did you tell her that?” Jay asked and Simon shook his head. “No, she always brings up the topic and I don’t want to give her my honest opinion.” …show more content…
“Wait, (Y/N)! Where are you going? You just arrived.” Simon stepped out of the room and called your name, then ran towards you. “Hey, you didn’t tell me you were coming up.” “You’re busy. I’ll drop by later,” you said, trying to escape the building, but he pulled you back. “I’m not busy now,” he said and then looked at your expression. “Is something wrong?” You looked up at him and pulled your arm away. “If you didn’t want to marry me, you should have just said it earlier. Why should we continue the relationship if the age gap bothers you so much?” He looked back at Jay and then turned his attention back to you. “I didn’t mean it like that.” “Then what did you mean?” “I …show more content…
I don’t want to see his damn face.” “Well, then, where are you staying? You’re not at your friend’s house.” “I’m staying at a hotel.” “Come on, (Y/N), Kiseok really wants to talk,” Hoody said, trying to convince you to go back. “Thirty minutes. Let me borrow thirty minutes from you and if you guys can’t settle on anything in thirty minutes, I’ll let you go.” You thought for a moment and then agreed to it. “Fine, let’s go.” Throughout the car ride, you didn’t say much to Hoody. You had different scenarios playing in your mind of what he was going to say to you. You were so focused on your own thoughts that you didn’t even realize that she had been calling your name. “(Y/N)!” You apologized. “Sorry, what happened?” “We’re here.” You got out of the vehicle and saw Loco standing in front of the door. He held in his hand and handed it over to you. On the white card, it said, ‘Head inside and turn left. You will find a red paper heart.’ You looked up at him, confused, but followed what the card instructed. When you walked inside, you saw a red paper heart sitting on top of the potted plant and picked it up. When you turned around, Elo stood in front of you and handed you another card with instructions on it and a red paper
“Well, I haven’t been ‘round these parts in a long while, just got some business to take care of,” I replied.
"But dad she has just begun her career and I don't want to indulge her in marriage life. Let her get settled then we will decide" I replied, checking the pile of files on my desk.
The bell ran a couple minutes after and Kyle came in and say next to me. He looked at me in confusion as I glared at him. He got a piece of paper and ripped it out of his notebook and scribbled something down and he passes the note to me, secretly.
“No, I want you to act like everything's normal.” She declined their offer, holding back the last couple of tears. They nod in agreement.
“I’m here Katherine, what do you want?” She called out into the empty room. Frustrated she looked around the room. “If you don’t come out now I’m going to leave.”
“Well, two things: One, I don’t know when I’ll be off to be able to go out for lunch or coffee. And two, I don’t have an interest in her.”
“No, I can’t hardly leave you out here by yourself, I mean really, you might get hurt. We both know that I’m muscle in this relationship.” I said, flexing my arms.
“No, no - it’s not about that,” she hesitated for a moment and said, “We can’t be friends anymore.”
“See you then!” He watched her go until she was out of his vision before getting back to work.
It starts out the same as always. The black blobs on a white sheet of paper. A lady plasters a smile on her face, holding up the card for my view.
“It’s not him.” I whispered, still in shock as what Garret had said was still sinking in. “He’s at a football party. He was drunk.” I looked over my shoulder at the car I thought had been Garret’s. It was closer now and much too small to be Garret’s Redneck pickup. Gwen was taking the exit into our small town and so was the
"You don't have to be so formal, dude we a-are most l-likey the same a-age." I say.
“Are you sure that we should do this?” I asked her being the wimpy preteen that I
FP's in jail, my mom won't even let me visit Jellybean and to top it all off I have to handle all of your problems. I can't do it anymore, Y/n. I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't wanna know you, you're a liability." he said looking at me with tires eyes "i'm so sorry Y/n I just think we should break up."
“Sammy, I’m fine,” I said, grabbing my wallet, jacket, and keys from my car. “I’m going to spend an hour at a bar then I’ll get back to you on it.”
