During the End-to-End Analysis, systems comprising the PPB legacy enterprise were reviewed and as-is systems and business processes were modeled. Analysis of existing business processes, redundant capabilities, duplicated data, and the as-is enterprise architecture provided baseline information to allow formation of a new vision for the PPB BOS enterprise. Using this information, capabilities required to support the Army PPB BOS enterprise were identified. Using a services-oriented approach to architecture, business capabilities were instantiated as software services and served as the basic building blocks for the PPB BOS enterprise. PPB systems were transformed to the PPB BOS enterprise with the following assumptions. The assumptions were derived from a number of sources, including Army leadership, best practices, stated Army priorities and goals, and contractual statements. Those assumptions follow: • PPB BOS capabilities shall be delivered in manageable capability increments. • An …show more content…
• The PPB BOS shall interface with GFEBS. • The PPB BI/DW shall provide appropriate data-warehouse and analytical capabilities in support of the PPB BOS. • Efforts to stabilize the existing PPB environment in preparation for PPB BOS increments shall be performed. • The PPB BOS enterprise shall follow net-centric data sharing and transformation tenets as defined by OSD. From the bottom up, the implementation approach focused on providing detailed packages of information that helped guide development or migration of PPB BOS capabilities. The packages were named Capability Roadmap Packages (CRP) and were designed to provide a wide variety of information about a capability in one document. Some of the information contained in a CRP included high-level project information, initial requirements, architecture diagrams, placeholders for process metrics, and stakeholder contact

My decision is to continue on the same course that Boeing Australia Limited (BAL) is on. I feel, after reading this case study that BAL has been on the correct path with regard to building their systems architecture. There is a need for a more sophisticated procurement process and the issue of a procurement application may be easily found. The key is the process by which BAL has implemented all other IT applications, they have been very successful. They are thorough and have processes in place to rationalize whether a new by-in application or an in-house developed program would be best. My thought is that at least one, if not more; of the current systems have an appropriate off the shelf

A business process combines manual and automated tasks that ultimately add measurable value to a product or service. A model for business model diagram of these manual and automated processes is a picture of the business process works as is or should work in the future to be. To develop an effective application that optimally supports the business process. Business process analysis identifies bottlenecks in efficiencies disconnects and other problem areas. Developers need solution functional and non-functional requirements to develop or modifying application. A good business process implementation will increase the visibility of the company’s activities making it easy to monitor and control the critical business processes of the company. It provides management with an increased ability to identify bottlenecks, make improvements that needed and reassigned resources to meet customer demand. It also provides an increased to identify further areas of optimization that will provide customer satisfaction or lower transaction
Business Process Management (BPM) software is a crucial aspect in security policy and infrastructure and another major concern for this firm. Considering the layout of the network, in which employees from various locations and customers ranging around the globe can access, Aircraft Solutions should be sure their BPM is strong. “One of the primary goals of instituting a business process management system is to provide greater accountability for departmental functions, from tracking and monitoring expenditures to ensuring deliverables are met.”
BAL developed capabilities in the areas of space and communications, site management and the upgrade and maintenance of military aircraft and equipment. As BAL grew, it faced difficult decisions how to improve or upgrade its procurement system and process to meet its customers’ requirement, especially its major customer the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
The new business process and integration tool also offered real-time visibility into its extensive manufacturing process, including tracking inventory, handling billing and monitoring vendor performance for on-time delivery and other measures. The system was fast, reduced errors and improved efficiency.
Historians have often debated whether the Civil Rights movement should be considered a "top-down" or "bottom-up" movement. Top-down means that the movement is driven by leaders, such as Martin Luther King Jr., while bottom-up presents the movement being headed by ordinary men and women. Even though both can be justified in terms of historical analysis, Selma demonstrates a top-down perspective throughout the movie.

technology project. The BPTO produced weekly status reports and monthly budget reviews helping the company gauge where it was heading towards. Thus the alignment started advancing (Austin, 2007).
Organizations face numerous barriers in overcoming resistance to change that can improve performance measures, customer service, and the effectiveness of the workforce. For the changes to become efficient and effective, organizations need to develop a strategy that can guide the organization in achieving the desired results. The purpose of the organization’s strategic plan is to align processes with the vision, develop collaboration, foster partnerships, and improve efficient use of equipment and facilities (Interprofessional Resource Center, n.d.). Numerous components perform their individual functions with their own vision of what the organization should be. The challenge for
This document is an annotated outline for a Project Management Plan, adapted from the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and IEEE Standard for Project Management Plans. The Project Management Plan is considered to be a “Best Practice” template by the ETS Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO).
This report was compiled by a team of professional project managers and gives an objective insight to the project in full.

One of the main things that we need to understand in the process of selecting the appropriate cloud development model for BPI is to understand what cloud deployment is all about. Cloud has been used for a while now and as business and security comes, it is predicted to be rising faster as years come by. The ubiquitous term cloud refers to anything that is being delivered today through the internet and in simple terms, cloud is where one can rent technology and information services on the internet through the providers. Most companies are today turning their focus on
