Elements of the Marketing Mix In any organization to succeed understanding the roll of marketing in the organization is vital to continue thriving or eventually closing the doors down for good. Understanding marketing and effectively conducting marketing with proper managing not only will result in success but, a higher return on ROI. Each organization will handle their marketing tactics differently depending on their goals and budget. Understanding what the potential buyers would want is just one piece of the equation of the product. Other parts that plays a big role of having a successful products are appearance, name and branding of the product, in my opinion this particularly important since first impression says a lot about the product. Another part of product is knowing the competition this allows Nabisco to compete with its rival companies such as Keebler. Normally when other company has a new product the other competitors has the similar product that can compete. Another vital part is the price of the product, a company must be able to price their products with a good value and still be profitable.
The Element of Price Price another element of the four P’s within the marketing mix, out of all the four P’s price is the one that creates sales revenue, the rest are cost (expenses). The pricing decision of the product or service will decided or affects the number of sales and how much it earns. An organization could have the best product however; if the product price too high or low it could result in low or lost profits. So the question is what is the value of the product or service (Mind Tools, 2014)?
