El Chupacabra serves Mission-style Mexican food in a funky style decorated restaurant. It is an old house with Day of the Dead decorations and has been refurbished into a restaurant. El Chupacabra has two happy hours daily, from 4pm to 6pm then 10pm to midnight. There is a patio as well as a fireplace inside. El Chupacabra has vegan options as well as dishes with meat. It has a brunch menu serving between 11 and 3 Saturday and Sunday with a breakfast burrito, breakfast quesadilla, Mexican omelet and enfrijoladas. Lunch and dinner options are tacos with your choice of filling, burritos, enchiladas, nachos or tostadas.
Los Cenzontles is a band, a nonprofit organization, a music academy, a community space for youth and families as well as a hub for Latino artists. The group works together to amplify Mexican roots in the Bay Area and beyond. Los Cenzontles produces original music, videos, and educational tools. They also teach classes in traditional Mexican music, dance, and arts and crafts. The group operates Los Cenzontles Mexican Arts Center in San Pablo, California. Dr. Lopez and Dr. Morrison were able to bring this band to Sonoma State University Weill Hall, especially for our CALS 165 class.

That means this man walked through blazing hot deserts and around mountains and crossed many rivers just so he could get to Mexico city, and his name was Cabeza de Vaca. Cabeza had many struggles but that didn't stop him from reaching his goal. Cabeza de Vaca survived because he had excellent wilderness/ survival skills, he was a talented healer to the indians, and he respected for the Native Americans.
Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca was born in 1490 at Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia. His parents went by the name Francisco de Vera and Teresa Cabeza de Vaca. “Cabeza de Vaca means ‘head of cow’ and was derived from a peasant ancestor.” (elizabethan-era.org) “By 1528, he was appointed treasurer underneath the explorer Panfilo de Narvaez which reached what is now Tampa Bay, Florida later in the same year.” “By September of that year, all of the members of the expedition except for 60 of de Vaca’s men had died near the shore of present-day Galveston, Texas.” (Biography.com Editors). The Los Banos Unified School District enrolls about 11000 students in Kindergarten through the 12th grade. The School District supports nine elementary schools, two junior highs, two high schools and one alternative high school. The School District is led by seven members of the Board or education. The School district employs five hundred and seventy-five certificated employees and four hundred and twenty-five classified employees. I believe the most logical explanation to the Chupacabra is a coyote or dog that is suffering from a severe case of sarcoptic mange mites. The evidence behind all of the Chupacabra samples directly points to the fact that it is only a coyote. I feel this way because every single supposed Chupacabra was proven to be a coyote with this disease. It also explains why people believed the creature to be hairless and makes sense. I was drawn to this explanation because I always believe in science, and most of the time it is proven to be correct. There are some people who inaccurately believe that sightings of the chupacabra date back to the 1970s, but the chupacabras first sighting report did not come until 1995 in Puerto Rico. The chupacabra seemingly suddenly sprang into existence and no one knows for sure why or how the chupacabra came to be. The chupacabra had a zenith of about five years, when it was wide-ly reported in Mexico, Chile, Nicaragua, Spain, Brazil, Argen-tina, and Florida among other places (Radford Tracking). In Hawley, Texas there was a report of a goat man and they called it “The Hawley Goat Man.” The strange thing about this is that in the report of the goat man in mentioned a creature covered in scales and fur, which bears little resemblance to most re-ports of the chupacabra, this alleged encounter happened near Fort Worth which is over 160 miles east of Hawley (Radford Texas).
