Doud got Scarlet from a sixteen year old servant. Mamie gave birth to her second son, John Sheldon, in 1922.
After Eisenhower graduation from West Point, Eisenhower experienced 7 years or more of professional frustration and disappointment. World War I ended a week before Eisenhower was scheduled to go to Europe. After peace came, his career went nowhere. Eisenhower did enjoy the personal fulfillment that came from marrying Mamie Doud in 1916 and having a son, named John, in 1922. And he soon got an assignments that allowed him to prove his abilities. He served as a military a side to General John pershing and then to General Douglas MacAuthur in the Philippines. Before the United States entered World War II, Eisenhower earned his first star with a promotion to brigadier general.

Kennedy called his new legislation program the “New Frontier,” with which he planned to promote educational support, aid to health care, redevelopment in cities and civil rights. However, he wasn’t able to keep many of these promises; Congress refused the pass most of his proposals, including a medical plan for the elderly, tax reductions, and more civil rights. He concentrated on promoting present civil rights, sometimes dispatching troops to enforce racial integration in schools. Although action to improve civil rights and health care wasn’t very successful, Kennedy still managed to improve the economy (e.g. Increasing minimum wage) and negotiate a limited ban on nuclear testing.
IKE as a kid had Six brothers he had always been encouraged in many ways so he decided to go to West point NY military school. He had graduated middle class as a second Lieutenant he was station in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He had two younger and two older brothers, who all became very successful at their respective professions. He later attends West Point academy after high school and graduates to become a Second Lieutenant in the 19th Infantry. As his life progresses he married Mary ‘Mamie’ Doud during his time at Fort Sam Houston. During World War II he becomes a prominent world figure, as he led the Allied forces in both Operation Torch and Overlord, also known as the invasions of North Africa and D-Day. When Dwight was four years old, his 10-month old brother Paul died of diphtheria. Eisenhower had many accomplishments during his terms. They include generating the U.S. Information Agency, and making Alaska and Hawaii as official states. Eisenhower also urged the invention of the Interstate Highway System while he was president. He also signed the 1957 Civil Rights Act and created an indefinite Civil Rights Commission and signed the bill to create the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
