It has been such a long time since I have last written. Edwin had came back with horrible news. Peter tried to commit suicide. Why did he try to commit suicide? I wonder what he thought he was doing? He still has a life to live. I know that I have beaten him up but I am really sorry. I want to change for me, him, and the world. I want Peter to come on the island with me I told Edwin that he should send Peter to the island. I think he should come because he should see the pond, the ancestor rock and maybe even the Spirit Bear. I want to help Peter know that I care for him now. Even though I had hurt him I want him to know that I being on the island helped me, but it might also help Peter also. Edwin thought this was a crazy idea. At first
The day was so boiling that you could see the heat simmering above the road. I sat beside Lauren, my best friend of two years, as we buzzed down the highway in her father’s, or as I call him Burnie’s, Cadillac De Ville Convertible. With the roof off and wind in our ears, blocking any possible sound from being heard.
In “Life on the Island”, Emily Esfahani Smith proposes that hyper individualism in a society leads to an increase of suicide. Smith uses many credible sources to support this claim. The strong evidence and analysis outweighs the few opposing viewpoints. The problem of increased suicide over the past years is addressed and analyzed by Smith. Smith’s argument is that hyper individualism in a society leads to an increase in suicide rates.
Throughout history, it can be seen that many events reoccur in the same way. There is a period of prosperity and confidence, followed by a period of depression and despair. That later on leads to a period of attempting restoration to recover from that depression. The "Roaring Twenties" is a perfect example of this case, as the economic prosperity and confidence during the 1920's led to depression and despair to restoration.

Peter’s dad took him to his grandfather's house for a place to stay while he is at war. Being with his grandfather reminds Peter of the anger he sees in his father and also himself. This is something very troublesome because, at a young age Peter lost his mother. On that day, Peter became angered by her and broke her glass globe. Peter’s mother betrayed him from going to the store with her because of this. It ended up being the day Peter’s mother died in the car crash, which makes Peter blame himself for the accident. When this quickly becomes unbearable for Peter, he leaves on an adventure to find his best friend. Peter’s grandfather's house is very far from where they left Pax so the trip is grueling and exhausting. Take note that Peter is going to walk on this journey, but it really show what he will do for his friend. This part of the story is very obvious that Peter is struggling but he is also persevering because he keeps
As I exhaustedly cried myself to sleep last night after May’s suicide, the thought of you never left my mind. I thought of writing down my feelings, instead of drowning in them, in a letter that you will never read. Years ago, you were in front me but, ever since the day you passed away, I wake up every morning with the reminder that you are a just a living memory. And if life is as short as they say it is, then I guess we are going to meet again sooner than I think we will...
“I’m sorry I left you alone on a roof. That was really crappy of me.”

On the 20th of September, 1783, a family set out to sea. They were leaving their home in the new USA, to return to what they considered their mother country, Great Britain. Throughout the ship’s first week out to sea, the sea was calm, with a good wind. However this soon changed. The family’s second out of four sons turned twelve on the 27th, exactly one week after they put to sea. On that day, the weather took a turn for the worse. The boy was the first of passengers to notice the change - when he went up on deck, he noticed that something didn’t feel right. He felt like there was some sort of change in pressure. He rushed back to his parents to tell them what he had noticed. They didn’t know what to say, and didn’t want to bother the crew.
He flies Wendy and her brothers to the island, and later directs them back to their house. Navigation is a type of memory that Peter has retained, and he also does well remembering his most
Henry leaned back in his desk chair and yawned, stretching his arms out over his head. He glanced out the window smiling to himself at how great a day it had been. The sun shone brightly as it shot different shapes onto the ground through the tree branches.

Janis and Thomas were two lovers walking through a beautiful Japanese park holding hand, surrounded by tweet bird, a softly sound from weeping willow and a smell of humid sand after a rainy day. Thomas decided to propose her in the park, because in that place -near to the lake- was their first kiss.
“Lidewij Vliegenthart. I found her. I emailed her. She gave him the email. He responded via her email account.”(Green 67). Peter said he will not be writing any other books so Hazel decided to email him as well saying how disappointed and relieved she is that he's not making any other books. Hazel asked him if he would mind answering a few questions she had about the book. Peter responded saying if you ever find yourself in Amsterdam you may pay a visit. Hazel asked her mom if they could go to Amsterdam but her mom said they don't have the money for traveling and they couldn't with the expense of getting Hazel's equipment over there. So Augustus gave Hazel his wish and they would both get to meet Peter. Hazel told her mom about it and they had to talk to their doctor Maria. She said Hazel could go if she had her mom go with her. When they met Peter he had thin hair, a beard, and he wore baby blue pajamas. His face and his belly were round, but his arms were skinny. Peter was extremely rude as they followed him into a creepy living room. Peter drank a scotch as he continued to insult Hazel and Augustus. Lidewij who was Peter's assistant took them to see the Anne Frank
