Looking back on the first lady’s life we can see the upbringing and past which led her to step up and serve her country incognito.

From a very young age she showed to have an ambiguous personality combined with great devotion with a pacific eccentricity and dissipation. As she got older she developed a very strong bond with her older brother King Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette to which she remained loyal to throughout her life, refusing notably to
Edith Head was born, Edith Claire Posner, on October 28, 1897, in San Bernardino to Max Posner and Anna Levy. Anne Frank born in Frankfurt, Germany is a Jewish girl who was a victim of the Holocaust, she was one amongst six million other persecuted Jews. “When Adolf Hitler’s anti-Semitism power began to expand across Europe it becomes increasingly more dangerous to be a Jew” (The Story of). As a result of this Anne went into hiding with her older sister, Margot Frank her parents, Otto and Edith Frank, accompanied by several other Jews, in a “building known as the secret annex” (The Story of). During her years in hiding Anne had experienced tremendous hardships, but despite that, she has managed to make a tremendous impact on the world through the writing in her personal diary. During World War II and leading up to it Jews were being discriminated against and captured, then put to work in death or concentration camps, because Hitler; the dictator at that time managed to convince most of Germany

How would the Diary of Anne Frank be without the secret Annex, or the film Life is Beautiful without the concentration camps? In The Diary of Anne Frank, Anne, a 14 year old jewish girl in 1940’s Netherlands, accounts her experience with her family in hiding from the Nazis in a backroom of an office called the Secret Annex. On the contrary, the film Life is Beautiful is about the experiences of Guido, his wife Dora, and his son Joshua, who are sent to a concentration camp because they are Jewish, and Guido and Joshua are separated from Dora. In both settings, the characters are isolated from the outside and they as a hiding place. In The Diary of Anne Frank, the setting is relatable and causes the characters to want to be separated while in
. In her diary, Anne Frank describes the relationships she had with different members of her her family. Anne’s relationship with her mother and father are drastically different, but both had positive impacts on her life. Anne was born in Frankfurt, Germany on June 12, 1929.
From the Franks’ Perspective “How wonderful is it that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world,” Anne Frank said. This quote is very inspiring because its true, people just need to believe in themselves. Otto and Edith had children in the 1920s. I think it was an unfortunate event in the timing because Hitler had just started trying to invade the jews. By the time they knew what was going on the children were both around the ages thirteen to eighteen.
When I write I shake off all my cares. But will I ever be able to write something great?” wrote Anne Frank. Anne received a red and white checkered diary from her mom and dad on her 13th birthday. Little did she know what she wrote in it would change the way people thought of her and looked at the world.
Otto Frank was born on May 12, 1889 in Frankfurt, Germany. Otto is married to his wonderful wife named Elfriede Geiringer and has two daughters named Anne Frank and Margot Frank. His parents are Alice Betty Stern and Micheal Frank. He has an older brother Robert a younger brother Herbert and a sister Helene.
Anne Frank makes me feel useless because she was going through a horrible situation that lead her to her death and I'm over here in “the land of the free” still feeling like I need more and want more. Her writing made me feel like if I was in that attic looking out the window to something I would never be able to go back to, which is my life. She was a new writer who was so confident and aggressive around others but she thought she was weak and uncertain of who she really is and how she felt. The relationship between her and Peter was complicated which I loved because she hated him at first then, started developing feelings for him except her sister also liked him so it was like a love triangle. Another thing is that in the Anne admits to being spoiled and selfish but she admits that being in the annex has changed her and I truly believe she has.

On May 12, 1925, Edith married Otto Frank, and moved to Frankfurt, Germany with him. They had two children, both girls, with the names of Margot and Anne. By 1934, the whole Frank family had moved to Opekta, for Otto’s business. The Frank family moved into the Secret Annexe on July 6, 1942. Mrs. Frank usually hid her feeling about others. She preferred to be polite, than rude. Her and Anne often got in small quarrels into the first year of hiding, but then died down during the second year. Edith hated that she and Anne quarreled. She often told Otto that Anne went against everything she said. Mrs. Frank was selfless, a loving mother, and a caring person.
I have learned so much about Jewish history in Berlin and Holland, not only from my research project, but from The Reader as well. While in Berlin, I will be visiting Sachsenhausen, which is a concentration camp located in Germany about 35 kilometers from Berlin in Oranienburg. Michael, from The Reader, also visits Struthof, the nearest concentration camp he could find. I imagine my experience might be similar to his, as I am excited to see what it is like, but also scared how it will impact me emotionally. The story in The Reader involves Hanna, a Nazi who was unable to read or write. This reminds me of Anne Frank, a Holocaust victim, who kept a diary while in hiding from the Nazis. In Anne’s case, her literacy gave her an advantage,
