First of all, the main effect of global warming is the fact that it causes warmer temperatures. While warmer temperatures may seem beneficial and good, the ways the atmosphere is becoming warmer isn’t that great. According to the article, Global warming, it states, “Natural processes on Earth constantly create and destroy greenhouse gases.” “Human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels, add an extra seven billion metric tons per year” (“Global Warming”). To explain, what this shows is that nature is already creating greenhouse gasses and people are adding even more to the atmosphere. While people strive on greenhouse gasses for warmth, the amount of greenhouse gasses forming will cause numerous environmental hazards in the future.

We might disagree on the causes of global warming; however, we cannot ignore that it is happening. Although we still experience cold winters, average global temperatures has risen drastically for the past three decades. Polar ice caps are melting; as a result, sea levels are rising. Scientist predict more extreme weather in the coming decades, in fact, droughts will probably be more common. Also, flooding and tropical temperatures might cause large amounts of methane gases to be released, which could be disastrous for our atmosphere. Climate change may have human causes and also it might be a natural occurrence. Nevertheless, we must find ways to save our planet.

Global warming is the increase in the earth's temperature caused by the buildup of greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and methane) in the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases prevent infrared radiation from escaping into space, and this greenhouse effect maintains the earth's warm temperature. Increasing levels of greenhouse gases, resulting from industry and the burning of fossil fuels, may result in rising global temperatures, causing coastal flooding and major climatic changes. According to the British Meteorological Office, 1995 was the warmest year on record and global temperatures continued to rise. A United Nations panel of scientists has predicted that if greenhouse gas emissions are not reduced, the average global temperature could rise by 1° to 3.5° C (1.8° to 6.3° F) by the year 2100.

Globally, cancer is one of the leading causes of death (Fitzmaurice et al., 2015; WHO, 2012). It is continue to consider as a pandemic disease, take into account it's increasingly prevalence rate worldwide (Jacox, Daniel & Payne, 1994; American Cancer Society, 2015).

Global warming is not just something that will happen, it’s something that is happening. People around the world are trying to fix what the human race has done to our planet. The damage is reaching a point that stopping air pollution and other atmospheric harmful things won’t be enough. Countries need to pull together whatever resources they can to do whatever they can. Earth is like our food source it feeds us, but you don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

Global Warming will continue to be a monstrous problem to be dealt with, when thinking of the future what needs to be considered is how long can the Earth keep sustaining life with little to no change. Change cannot happen overnight but, with nations working together to fix a common goal it is possible to put in motion a considerable change that will benefit the generations to come. Second of all, global warming has caused the ozone layer to start to break. The ozone layer is a layer that absorbs the rays of the sun. There is a very big hole in the ozone layer. The breaking of the ozone layer has caused the suns rays to come down at the humans very sharp. The hole in the ozone layer lets the UV enter the atmosphere; it can cause skin cancer, general cancer in addition to many more diseases to humans. There’s a list of things humans can do to help reduce global warming including; plant a tree, carpool, take a shower instead of a bath, use less hot water, use less hot water there is a lot more to this list.

Global warming has a lot of causes and effects throughout the globe, including: icecaps melting, deforestation, carbon emissions, factory smoke, forest fires, coral reefs dying, and extreme weather catastrophes. All of these causes and effects listed can be prevented if only the population of people who do not believe it is real would start caring about the environment and what we release into the atmosphere.

Although some believe that Global Warming has been created due to manmade pollutants, I believe that Global Warming is a natural process that has been accelerated due to the excess emissions of pollutants from nature and manmade devices into the atmosphere. The world has been said to be on a cycle of global warming and cooling, this process can neither be stopped nor prevented, but it can be accelerated with the addition of non-natural emissions from automobiles and factories; because this is a natural process, even if constraints were to be put on the amount of pollutants released into the air global warming could not be prevented—it could only be slowed.
