The Dyatlov Pass incident was an event that resulted in the deaths of nine hikers in the northern Ural Mountains on the night of February 2, 1959. The incident happened on the eastern side of Kholat Syakhl. Since then, the mountain pass where the incident occurred has been called Dyatlov Pass after the group's leader, Igor Dyatlov. Investigators determined that the skiers had torn their tents from the inside out in order to escape from an apparent threat. They fled the campsite, some of them barefoot, under heavy snowfall. Although the bodies showed no signs of struggle, such as contusions, two victims had fractured skulls and broken ribs. Soviet authorities determined that an "unknown compelling force" had caused the deaths; access to the

During the weekends with Liberty Pass, all of us were really happy; we went to visit family, friends and loved ones, who lived several hours away by car or motorcycle. Some Cadets, whose families live in far away places, were happy as well. They would visit Sài Gòn in their freshly pressed cadet uniforms, proudly displaying the dangling gold Thủ Đức Academy lanyard and brightly shining Alpha insignias on their shoulders. Some of them even had flashing gold teeth to complement their insignias for additional charm. Every time I saw those shining smiles, I instantly thought of a popular playful version of a song I had learned when growing up: “Laugh for those gold teeth brighten up. Sing for those gold teeth freshen up ...”
Many people seek to find passion in their life, something they feel gives them drive or purpose. Many only find one, if any at all. Eli Gershkovitch, however, has found three, all while making a booming business in the process. Eli Gershkovitch's interests run the gamut from brewing to aviation to Law and all seem to inextricably intertwine themselves. His interest in craft brewing tied itself greatly to his legal knowledge, experience and landmarks in life. Following his graduation from the University of Toronto's law school in 1987 Eli Gershkovitch began a European tour kicked off a series of events that would bud into a brewing empire.
Deep in the Ortoten Mountains, The bodies of nine Russian hikers were found dead in February of 1959. One of the bodies was mutilated badly. There are many facts about this incident that are accepted as the truth. But to describe the night of February 2, 1959(Daily mail), facts are out of the question. Infrasound was the most probable cause of the death of the hikers.
Didymo is a non-native invasive species has been causing problems throughout Ulster County, and upstate New York.
The diatom Didymosphenia Geminata, often referred to as, “Didymo,” or “Rock Snot,” is native to many parts of the world. Didymo lives in freshwater streams and rivers and thrives in nutrient rich waters such as those that are in southern Missouri and Arkansas. This alga, not to be confused with algae, is a moss-like substance that until lately hadn’t been a cause for concern for anyone. Recently though, thanks mostly to anglers, Didymosphenia Geminata has begun to spread into rivers and streams that are, or at least were, not originally native habitats for this diatom. Scientists and ecologists are only now beginning to understand how damaging this substance really can be. While, “Didymo” has yet to be found in Missouri’s
A little over two years ago Colin Kapernick the free agent quarterback whom once held a starting position as the quarterback for the San Francisco Forty-Niners began kneeling on one knee during the National Anthem played prior to the kickoff of every game. His reason in taking such measure for doing what he was doing was due to the injustice that was carried out on the way that Black American males have been treated in the United States of America. Ever since the slaying of unarmed Michael Brown, a young black male whom was gunned down whilst being unarmed in Ferguson, Missouri by a white police officer, no charges were filed. Even so following the death of Brown there has been numerous amounts of black males in America that were gunned down
Smoke is coming from the woods. The fire is burring pine trees and is spreading.
Another consequence of his actions was, after the storm hit, he went back to camp.Soon after realizing that nineteen others still weren’t at the camp, he started to look for them. After hours of searching, he finally found people. However they died from results of hypothermia. In a chapter when he is ascending the mountain, he mentions “I came across another body in the snow, more accurately, the lower half of the body...it was there for about fifteen years” (163)
Other soldiers gave up sleeping, when it got to cold, to sit in front of roaring fires (Kennett, 1995). The wind in the area sometimes combined with the rains and the cold air, nearly knocking over the tents of the soldiers and making them freeze into the night.
Madera High is an ordinary high school in a fairly small town of about 60,000 people. Although the usual picture of bullying portrayed in the media does not occur here, there are still other forms of bullying and harassment that happen often. Cyberbullying has become the new form of harassment that teens use to bully other students. Social media is now the platform bullies prefer to use rather than the physical confrontation that bullying used to be. Through recent years, it has become an epidemic that has taken over the internet and social networks. It has made it even harder for students to get away from the bully or the person harassing them. At Madera High the amount of bullying seen at school by other students and staff is fairly low,
To this day there are documentaries and articles being produced about what happened on the mountain pass, despite it happening almost sixty years ago. One documentary, called “Death at Dyatlov Pass”, includes photos, diary entries, and even reenactments. The documentary includes interviews of professionals who are considered experts on the mystery, yet there is no real answer. During the 90’s, interest was sparked when an investigator who had worked on the original case wrote an article titled “Secret of the Fireballs”. The article includes the investigators accounts on what he saw and how he truly believes the members were killed by strange fireballs and the energy being given off of them, he believes these fireballs are a product of Russian experiments (Yuri Yudin).
They leave the snow hole in the morning. Joe abseils down a cliff, he falls down the east face and breaks his leg. Simon tries to help him get down to the camp. He abseils Joe down a few ledges. Joe tells simon to slow down but he cant hear him.

The psychology theorists of the past have shaped the classrooms of the present. There are many theorists that have affected the teaching styles of today and a theorist that has had a major impact is Lev Vygotsky. Vygotsky’s work interests me much because his concepts and ideas encompass many of the ways in which teachers teach in today’s classrooms. The ideas he presented have contoured the strategies of teachers. It is interesting to look into the reasons why teachers have adopted some of the strategies they use and many of those reasons are formed from the original ideas of Vygotsky.
