I hope you are having a great summer. I’m ready for the fall semester and working on getting all of my classes in order for this upcoming semester. My goal is get admitted at the W.P. Caret school of business, to do so I need to submit a transferred student portfolio, a resume and two recommendation letters .in the portfolio I will need to have taken specific classes I was able to finish all the needed classes with grades B and better. However, I still need to take ACC 230 OR ACC211 AND ALSO ACC 240 OR 212. They don’t have to be in succession so I enrolled in ACC 230 like I did with you last semester and would like you to approve my enrollment in ACC 212 with Rhonda Culver class number 24233 as my first preference or Andrew Hamilton ACC 240

Primarily, my preparations have been to cut the costs that I would have while attending college and attempting to increase my likelihood of receiving financial aid. Furthermore, one of my most challenging experiences was maintaining a 3.0+ GPA in school while attending Oakland Community College in the Dual Enrollment Program. It was a tough situation to be in, due to the excessive amount of work I had to do for both high school and college. While in high school, students have the opportunity to earn college credit to work towards a degree, while earning high school credit at the same time. This is referred to as dual credit, and more and more students are beginning to take advantage of its many purposes. Two types of these dual credit programs are dual enrollment and advanced placement. While both programs have their advantages, there are several reasons that dual enrollment is rightfully preferred by students than its counterpart. Dual enrollment courses benefit students more overall than advanced placement courses, as dual enrollment programs give students the same benefits, if not more, without the intense rigor and risks associated with advanced placement.

Around seven months ago, several of my classmates and I walked into our high school’s computer lab and logged onto Northwestern State University’s (NSU) Moodle website for the first time. Over the next seven months, we logged into our accounts several more times, often every day of the week. As dual-enrollment students, we have been attending online college courses through this website as high school students. These courses allow us to get a head start in our college educations. While this experience has been largely beneficial to us as students, it has not been an entirely pleasant one. The NSU dual-enrollment program has issues, but there are solutions to these problems.
