In the Droid Does Commercial, the four different approaches are used to allow the viewers to understand the message of the commercial.
From the beginning of the commercial, the approach that was the most obvious would be to subvert the features of an iPhone and making the viewers think “Is this going to be a better product than Apple?” The way the commercial used the letter ‘i’ was to remind viewers of Apple’s products and commercials. By using the word “don’t” together with the letter ‘i’ was to indirectly mock Apple’s strategy of promoting their products and telling them that the new Motorola product that is coming their way would be better than Apple’s iPhone, with much better features
