Each year numerous lives are lost due to careless and irrational driving. The disregard for safe driving has been a predicament to the United States of America for years. Many years Police have relied heavily on speed cameras, breathalyzer tests and heavy fines as a deterrent against unlawful drivers. Over the years fatality rates have increased, so the Department of Transportation and Highway Safety has composed a series of safe driving campaigns. On many occasions the Transportation Department informs and advises the public about the importance of responsible driving. They propagate safe driving through the various channels of the media and

It convinces the common people of the importance of life and makes them aware of the consequences that come from small and simple choices they make every day.
A very effective piece of propaganda in that it captures the reader’s attention successfully by placing a picture of a child in the focal point of the advertisement. The child plays a vital role in this piece of propaganda in that it represents a loved one, family member and anything cherished. It shows what could be left behind, if a driver chooses to ignore safe driving. Choosing a sorrowful child’s face, further enhanced the emotions of the reader, as the advertisement would not have the same effect if an adult was shown instead. The advertisement also suggests that the driver has been negligent in his/her duty of care toward their family. This also instigates a number of feelings in the viewers mind about their family, and the result to their loved ones.
Fear is also generated in this piece of propaganda in that it plays on the emotions of the viewer by making them aware of what may be left behind if they die by a thoughtless and preventable accident. This further prompts safe driving, that it reveals to the viewer real life accidents, and promotes concern to the viewer. It also gives a sense of pity for the child that has been abandon by its deceased parents.
This is a typical propaganda article which relies heavily on the emotions of the viewer to convey its message. It first projects scenes of typical
When people look at this ad they will somewhat relate themselves to the lady in this picture, they wonder:“How would I feel if that was me?”, “Does she feel like it's her fault for this person’s death?”, “What if that person was important to her?”, “I talk on the phone with people who are driving, what if I do this to them.”. These people are emotionally trying to understand, and in a sense, feel what this lady is feeling. By doing this, it will make them not want to have that happen to them, and persuade people to stay off of the phone while they are
Drunk driving is an epidemic that continues to have severe and life threatening consequences for those involved, if we simply take a few steps against drunk driving we can help decrease this epidemic.
Each year, 13,000 people are killed by drunk drivers with a blood alcohol level above .08. Advocates of a new standard for in-car breathalyzers say that most, if not all, of those accidents could have been avoided if the drunk driver hadn't been able to turn his or her car on. If Congress and Mothers Against Drunk Driving get their way, could your next new car could come with a breathalyzer pre-installed?

Drink driving or inebriated driving, as different nations call it, for the most part means driving affected by liquor. Be that as it may, it really incorporates different arrangement of offenses. Here are some significant circumstances as justification for getting drink driving-related charges:
Drinking alcohol under the age of 21 is illegal in the United States. Driving after drinking alcohol is not only illegal at all ages in many places, but also dangerous. Alcohol affects driving skills by slowing judgment, alertness, muscle coordination, reaction time, self-control (inhibition), and memory. The effects of alcohol greatly increase a teen’s chances of getting into a car crash and dying from a car crash.
In 2015, over 10,000 people lost their lives to accidents involving alcohol and in the last two years the number has only risen. Drunk driving laws are not severe enough to scare people into remission from this nasty habit and believe they need to be altered to ensure the safety of the public. Although drunk driving isn't going to stop anytime soon there are many ways we can make it worse for the people who choose to endanger others lives when they drive drunk.
Right now although there are quite a fair amount of anti drunk driving ads and campaigns in the media, there is next to nothing targeted at the younger audiences that need it the most. I theorise that by even putting younger people in as the actors in these campaigns could even make them more relatable and relevant for todays youth. The National Health & Medical Research Council in 2014 took a survey which shoed that on average around 13% of deaths of 14-17 year olds are caused by alcohol intake.
Drunk driving. Everyone knows how dangerous it can be. The message, “Do not drink and drive,” is everywhere. People have finally started to realize how incredibly perilous driving while drunk can be, and the number of alcohol related accidents is starting to plummet. *** Do not celebrate yet, however. Another dangerous pastime is beginning to influence people behind the wheel. Texting. In fact, people are beginning to believe that texting while driving is even more precarious than driving while intoxicated. ** Really? Texting? Unfortunately, yes. Statistics on accidents and studies on the slowed reaction times of behind the wheel texters seem quite conclusive. In addition, people just do not take this issue seriously enough, which has a great effect on the occurrence of texting.
Both of you have been driving me all over the place for 18 years. You took me to get my permit and then finally my license. I thought by me receiving my license you guys might finally be tired of driving me everywhere, but that didn’t happen. If I had a car right now you guys wouldn’t have to drive me to every practice, every activity, and every job. Think of all the money you would save on gas! Neither of you would have to argue who’s turn was it to pick me up. Just think of all the benefits! So do your selves a favor and buy me a car.
Drunk driving is a horrible thing to do. Being drunk while you are driving can lead to killing yourself or someone else. It has been going on for years. If you get caught drinking and driving you get a ticket for driving under the influence ( DUI ) is up to $10,000 , go to jail, and get your car towed, and your insurance goes up. It’s not worth through all of that. Drunk driving must stop.

Drunk driving can be very deadly, yet many people drive while under the influence every day. Drivers who are drunk are blamed for the loss of as many as 52, 000 lives in highway crashes each year and hundreds of thousands of severe injury’s
Drunk driving is considered a serious crime in every state. It is wrong, irresponsible and wastes many lives. People who abuse alcohol hurt everyone around them, endanger public safety, and create carnage on the nation's highways. There is nothing positive that can come out of drunk driving, so why do people do it? It is society's job to punish these menaces and try to take control of this out of control issue. America doesn't want to watch idly as hundreds of people are killed each day. We want to take a stand and let the world know that we may be the 'land of the free and the brave' but there is nothing brave or free about driving drunk. What should be done about this problem is debatable and certainly open to discussion, but the first
Just this past summer on the day of July 15, 2017 a fatal accident involving a biker and a drunk driver.
