This letter is to inform all parents about the dress code at Creative Learners Child Development Center. No sandals or open toe shoes are permitted, this is for safety and state requirements, please help us keep your child or children in a safe environment. No short dresses or shorts that expose your child’s underwear or bottom are permitted, again this is for safety and state requirements for daycare. Dresses are permitted but they must have short underneath. Please send your children to daycare with the proper dress attire and shoes. If you are not sure about the proper dress code for daycare, please ask. Please do not send extra shoes for change of different activities at Creative Learners. We are here to provide a daycare service in
Like other day care facilities, The Kids Learning Centre strives to provide the best in child care. As part of their program to
When in the course of life events it becomes necessary for students to protest against dress code. Students should have the right to wear any type of attire they desire to because it is a form of expressing their individuality.
Young girls across the world are constantly being sexualized and told to cover up their bodies. Girls starting from middle school through high school are told to meet ridiculous standards that are required to be appropriate to attend public school. Girls who are forced to change or go home based on these absurd demands are being told that putting their education on pause, is more important that being comfortable in their clothes they are wearing. A boys wears a shirt to school with a bikini model on it, and nothing is said. A girl wears a tanktop on a 90 degree day, and she is pulled out of class. Standards like this are interrupting the education of many young women across the world, and they need to be stopped. Ruining self esteem for
Over the years the Pen Argyl Area school board has done some great things. In recent years though, they have been making some big changes involving the students. The dress code at Pen Argyl Area School District has majorly changed. Every year the same incident happens with a different student. They head to class with a certain item of clothing, a pair of shorts, or a wild hairstyle and then, the phone rings. Soon the student is out of class and in the office. Dress codes in school may seem like a great idea, but soon will turn into a disaster. If the dress code becomes less strict then there will be less disciplinary infractions throughout the year, it will be less cost effective for the parents when buying their children clothing, and the dress code is mainly geared towards what the girls can and can not wear.
At a local elementary school, a fifth grade girl is teased by classmates about her clothes being raggedy and not so stylish. Five weeks later, she overdosed on her mother’s pain medication and died at the local hospital. Beside her bed, her mom found a note that said, “I am so tired of people making fun of me and my clothes.”
This is especially true as kids get older and can become resentful of an inability to choose personal clothing styles (Neil Kokemuller 1 Feb, 2016).” Creative abilities in tennagers can sometimes be affected by rigid dress code policies. The more restricting the dress code the higher chance that the teen will be negatively impacted. Creativity comes from non restricting things, being in atmospheres where they can feel like they have the freedom to express ideas, create original things, and think for themselves. Strict dress-codes can negatively affect the willingness of teens to creatively engage in projects and they are comfortable doing it.
I once saw a video where a kid was hiding weapons in his pants, there must have been at least 15 weapons. So not only not having dress codes is scary but it also is also very hazardous. Dress codes will take kids attention away from there clothes more so than their work.
Most educational institutions all across the country implement restrictions on what students wear when they are on school grounds. These restrictions include dress codes that address what students can and cannot wear and uniforms with similar outfits. The argument with dress codes and uniforms is that it helps students perform better in school by limiting distractions, while others claim that restricting what a student can wear at school can limit their freedom of expression. The immediate answer to the question “Should schools be able to control what students wear?” is a yes, all schools must-have control over what students wear in the school premise within the bounds of a dress code to establish an
I am writing this letter to explain how harmful and diminishing our school dress code is. School dress codes sustain sexism, rape culture, and victim blaming. This school should rise above these standards and put a stop to this, especially with the “safe” environment you are guaranteeing.
When it comes to dress code, every individual has a different viewpoint for its implementation. There are clothes that could be fashionable to one person but seen as offensive to another. A dress code can be justifiable when put into a situation that really does require certain attire to be worn. It gives a sense of formality and distinguishes an individual apart from a group. This report seeks to compare and contrast the characteristics of school dress codes with that of dress codes in the workplace.
54% of Schools across America enforce a strict dress code (infoplease web), and this is considered normal. So it is normal for schools to target young girls, and it is normal for girls to be punished for the reactions of others? Many schools have dress codes and many of them all follow the same rules. These rules are outrageous and these schools need to be stopped. We should have school dress codes rewritten because they specifically target young girls and their clothing choices.
“What you wear is how you present yourself to the world”, says Miuccia Prada. The dress code at Hurley High School are very strict. Dress codes are good for the most part but maybe schools or work are too strict. Here are three dress code changes that needs to be made at Hurley High School: bare shoulders, holes in jeans, and wearing hoods.
I picked the subject of our school dress code to send to our superintendent for many reasons. I, along with many of my fellow female classmates, feel as if the dress code is unfair. We feel it defeats the purpose of trying to get us to be individuals and by giving us a good education. This is extremely important and I thought it was a topic that needs to be addressed. I also picked this subject because I feel that one of my strengths is arguing on a matter that I have a strong opinion on. I am content with the subject I wrote about and how I went at it.
Dressing code of both men and women in Islam is known as an important aspect of religion that should be observed. The appearance is a sign of what a person has in the heart. Therefore, the Islamic code of dress is one of many things that differentiate Muslims and Non-Muslims.
During my observations in the different classrooms at “The childcare Center”, I learned about the proper environment, the fundamentals of the teachers lesson plans, their health and safety regulations, their approach to guidance and discipline, and overall quality childcare. The center has eight different levels of age groups; each of them has their own curriculum based on their age and developmental needs. This curriculum changes and has a new theme each month that helps the lead teachers to be able to start their lesson plans each week. From infants all the way to pre-K the lesson plans include fine motor, gross motor, art and sensory, math and manipulatives, music and movement, language including both signing and Spanish.
