William Shakespeare is a classic writer and has written several plays. One of his famous plays he has written was Othello. There are several roles that show throughout the play; false friendship, race, and gender roles.

The play "Othello the Moor of Venice," is one of Shakespeare's great tragedies. That being so, for every tragedy, there is the tragic hero- a man that is, at bottom, truly honorable and good, but plagued by a flaw that causes his fateful undoing. The question then arises whether there is sufficient evidence to all-together condemn Othello as a malevolent and innately evil man, or such evidence that he was simply deceived by Iago's treachery and should be excused for his actions. Yet, as the play unfolds, it is clear that no such solid line can be drawn.     Antonio feels closer to Bassanio than any other character in The Merchant of Venice. Our first clue to this is in the first scene when, in conversation with Antonio, Solanio says, "Here comes Bassanio, your most noble kinsman, / Gratiano, and Lorenzo. The first artist is Leonardo, called Leo in TMNT. The characteristics are not horribly paired, but they do not quite match up perfectly. Leonardo the creative/painter/sculptor/inventor/ architect/absolute genius does not quite fit into the leader/tactical/listening persona. Leonardo da Vinci had a workbook packed full of ideas which was written mirror image and backwards, because he was left-handed. Leonardo invented many things we still use today such as the tank, in a way the helicopter, and the parachute. On the other hand, Leo is a leader definitely not the inventor of the group, yet he is intellectual and strong like his artist counterpart. The character traits of the two Leonardos do not match up because one is an inventor whereas the other is more of a leader. Leonardo’s character should have been that of Donatello, because Donatello is the inventor/smarty of the group just like Leonardo da Vinci.

Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 in Vinci Italy. Da Vinci was raised by his father who noticed his art skills at a young age. At age 14 he began apprenticing with the artist Verrocchio. He was Verrocchio’s apprentice for 6 years and he learned a variety of different techniques. He surpassed his master very fast. Then at the age of 20 qualified as a master artist in the guild of saint Luke and he established his own workshop. But he did more than just art He was also a mathematician. Inventor, sculptor and writer. He had over 13,000 pages of notes and drawings in drawings of flying machines, 400 years before the wright brother’s success. His drawings also consisted of plant studies, war machinery, anatomy, and architecture. His sketches of a fetus, the heart and vascular system, sex organs and other bone and muscular structures are some the first on human record. His interest in human anatomy helped him master realistic paintings.

The Merchant of Venice is a play set in a very male and Christian dominated society where other religions and women rights weren’t very well accepted by the community. However Portia, a rich woman who had previously been controlled by men, triumphs as she manipulates tricks and saves the lives of the men.

Little is thought about Leonardo's initial life. He put in his initial five years in the village of Anchiano, then lived in the family unit of his dad, grandparents and uncle, Francesco, in the residential area of Vinci. Most people probably think of Leonardo Da Vinci as just a painter but in reality he was actually also a expert drawer, an ingenious inventor, and a marvelous scientist. Over a period of twenty-five years Leonard dissected around thirty human bodies as well as cows, birds, frogs, bears, and monkeys. Of these bodies he made over two hundred tedious drawings. Another thing to remember is beings the process of drawing took so long the bodies would start decomposing before he was finished with all of the drawings in which he intended to make.
