The population of domestic violence in Australia has allowed some government fund to the community to create many charities and campaigns to raise awareness of its existence to end.
Domestic Violence has a prevention month that is held every May to raise community awareness of the social and personal impact of domestic violence. The key goals they aim to achieve in the month is for the community to raise awareness, promote clear messages, ensure victims receive access to the right help and support and encourage those who are the abusers to take responsibility for their behaviour and seek help and support to change.
