Does Alcatraz Escape Legend: Two Inmates May Have Survived?

The two burglars were illegal immigrants from Colombia, Hernando Torres, age thirty-eight, and Diego Ortiz, age thirty. They left the house with a pillowcase containing jewelry and approximately $2000 in cash. A plainclothes officer arrived just in time to see the three men facing off across Horn’s lawn, and soon both of the burglars were dead. Torres’s body was across the street in the yard of a Pasadena police officer and Ortiz fell onto a neighbor’s lawn, leaving bloodstains on the sidewalk.

Alcatraz was finally running in business, and all the worst prisoners were being sent there. All the inmates had a quick idea on how cummings was running Alcatraz. You couldn’t talk or you would be sent to the “hole” for a couple of weeks. The hole is “isolation”. Al Capone [the most famous gangster] was sent for the for a lot of times. And he went crazy because he kept making and remaking his bed. There was many escape attempts at alcatraz but none of them were successful. Two of them were reported missing.

Castle Rock, Andrew Dufrense sent for two life terms and a dead body found of Glenn Quentin and Linda Dufrense in Portland in September 10, 1947. Andy was apparently furious about Glenn Quentin and Linda Dufrense having an affair.

They escaped capture in various encounters with the law. However, their activities made law enforcement efforts to apprehend them even more intense. During a shootout with police in Iowa on July 29, 1933, Buck Barrow was fatally wounded and Blanche was captured. In June 1962, inmates John Anglin and Clarence Anglin were two of the three who escaped from Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary. The brothers, John and Clarence, along with their other brother Alfred, were arrested in the early 1958 when they robbed a bank in Colombia, Alabama with a toy gun. The John and Clarence were sent to Alcatraz for various attempted escapes at other prisons, while Alfred was sent to Alabama Penitentiary. The Anglin brothers previous lockup notified Alcatraz that they should not be placed near one another. It took 14 long months of preparation before they made their big escape. December 16, 1937, partners Theodore Cole and Ralph Roe climbed through a window they had filed the bars away from over time. On that night of June 1962 the Anglin brothers Clarence and John and, Frank Morris. It’s pretty obvious that that the famous Alcatraz escapees survived. There may be some persuasive arguments against that but, by looking through the evidence it seemed the fact that they survived out weighed the fact they died.

Evidence has been found, that proves they had an outside helper, who was included in their ingenious plan. The day after the escape it was reported that an electrical cord, one-hundred-twenty feet long was found missing. There was also a boat schedule for leaving Alcatraz and some magazines telling how to tie and untie a boat from a dock and how a boat enters and exits a slip. These were found on Frank Morris’s desk. “The theory is that they came up under the boat dock, went under the water and tied the electrical cord to the scaling up by the rudder. Then fed the cord all the way around the dock so when the prison launch was coming out of the slip they would be able to position the raft, so it would be pulled out toward the mainland. They were then taken to a hospital where one surviving victim, who died later, said they weren’t the killers. John and Rubin are released and were “never suspects”.

Potential clues may occasionally be disguised as coincidences. A car was stolen on the night of the escape. Also, only one body was found out of three, and that was on the 17th, though they left on the 11th. These facts from A Daring Plan to Escape Alcatraz and Escape From Alcatraz: June

Alcatraz was a prison in San Francisco Bay. In that prison, there were criminals from Al “Scarface“ Capone to Robert Strout, but within that prison was Clarence and John Anglin who was a bank robber with a toy gun. They were in there because they tried to escape so many times that they went to a prison that was “ inescapable“. With them was Frank Morris who was in there for many charges from narcotic possession to traffic tickets, but they became friends and escaped the prison into San Francisco Bay and are hiding in Brazil, however there is controversy over if they lived or died,but hopefully this evidence will show you that they did escape, but it is your choice to tell if they survived. Clarence, John, and Frank all became friends in Alcatraz.

The police were called and the eldest son went to prison, where he died a year later.

Attempting to escape Alcatraz without a ride was extremely difficult. The water was really cold, and it was hard to attempt swimming away without getting spotted.

The inmates of Alcatraz are all riled up. The alarms are sounding and the rumors are flying about an attempted escape. Most find this hard to believe since no one has ever been able to do so before. June 12/1962 the day after Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers escaped a car was reported stolen pg.9 If this was them they could've used this for a way to leave or hide from police. The same day a body was found floating near the shore of the bay. This doesn't mean that all of them died, 2 could've still been alive.
