My love for the Doberman pinscher dogs. As a child my first dog was a Doberman pinscher. I grew up and raised with Dobermans as well as other dog breeds which include Rottweilers, Pit bulls, Pitbull mixes, pugs, Chihuahuas, and German shepherd mixes and other mix breeds, since the dogs that I was more attached were Dobermans and Pitbull. My favorite is the Dobermans pinscher. As I child my first dog at age 3 was a female Doberman pinscher. I played with her since I am an only child. She was my only friend. My parents and I named her Corazon which means heart. She was very friendly, playful, active, loving, affectionate, loyal, intelligent, good temperament and guard dog, very over protective of her family, especially me as a child. As for

English bulldogs are no longer a fit healthy dog, and people are now saying that there is no such thing as a healthy bulldog and their poor health and survival is a result from selective breeding. English bulldogs suffer from almost every possible disease. A 2004 survey by the Kennel Club found that these dogs die on average at an unfortunate age of 6.25 years. Over the years the English bulldog’s physical traits have been breed to the extreme. Their faces have become flatter, the legs have shortened, head is larger and the well-known under bite has grown as seen in Fig.1. Although these traits seem to look ‘cute’ or ‘desirable’ to humans it is having a massive effect on the dog. The shortness and shape of the English bulldog today means that
My dog, Ava, and I have been best friends since she came to our home five years ago. Dachshunds are a fantastic breed that come in many colors and textures, they are great snugglers, and hunters too.
Imagine coming home, and opening the door to see a dog run up to you and greet you with barks and licks. A lot of people want a dog like that, or just a good dog; but what dog is right for you? If you’re a first time owner, you might want to steer clear of these three dogs: the Chow Chow, the Border Collie, and the Rottweiler or just plain Rottie. For now, let’s just see which one of these dogs is the easiest to have, and which is the hardest. We can find out by judging their behavior and trainability.
When deciding to purchase a dog, the characteristics and traits of specific breeds take on added importance and a Dachshund is no different. Knowing how your specific dog thinks will help greatly and since you are the leader of the pack, it behooves you to learn as much as possible about the personality traits of a Dachshund. The following list of traits will help you during this process.
Antibiotic treatments have always found a threat in drug-resistant superbugs, like E. coli and Salmonella, which have evolved to make many of the antibiotics of our grandparents useless. But light-activated nanoparticles called quantum dots could boost antibiotic effectivity against such superbugs, according to new research from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Some pathogens evolve their defenses faster than new antibiotics are developed as potential treatment, and the production of superbug killers cost the United States around $20 billion in direct healthcare costs, and another $35 billion in wasted labor in 2013.
While I was on a rack in a shop a family passed by there were 4 kids all of them chose a pillow pet. And I was one of the lucky contestants it was great three different pillow pets were adopted besides me. Out of all the pillow pets he chose me. He never let go of me, always taking me everywhere he went. It was a great life but one day something terrible happened I was stuffed in a bag, and it wasn’t just in ordinary bag it was a trash bag. I was deathly afraid of what was going on what I thought was the perfect owner put me in a trash bag I never wanted to forgive him. But one month later I was pulled out in my mind I was thinking well this is the end but I saw a bright lite me also thinking at that time a was killed in my sleep and am now
The iconic dog, Snoopy, from Peanuts, an American comic strip, fashions the unaltered ear. His ear hangs loosely from the starting point on his skull, a natural method that many breeds are not allowed as it does not fit the standard that the American Kennel Association outlines. Cosmetic surgeries, such as tail docking and ear cropping, are popular alterations of many Working, Terrier, and Herding breeds. The alteration is not beneficial to the animal, but simply meets the “desired look” that the association desires. Even though time the practice is deemed acceptable in the United States, unnecessary cosmetic procedures on the tails and ears of canines are animal abuse because the surgeries have no advantage to the health or wellbeing of the
I think that dogs came from all over. Like the German Shepard, must have come from Germany. The American Bulldog came from North America, and the Boxer came from Munich France. So I think all the dogs came from all around the world. Different breeds have different advantages like the German Shepherd is more aggressive than the American Bulldog. The American Bulldog is cuter than the Boxer. The Boxer is cleaner than the German Shepherd. I think every dog comes from different places because they all have different traits and personalities based on their owners and skills. Each dog came from their own lands because of their names, traits, or lifestyles.
Devotion is a word that is usually associated with nuns, the way they completely live their life for one single purpose. The friendly neighborhood Golden Retriever also lives his life in a deeply devoted way to serve and protect his family, the way the nun serves her god. Devotion can be described as zealous or ardent in attachment, loyalty, or affection. Devotion also describes me and the way I live my life. But unlike the nun or the Golden Retriever, I live my life devoted to almost everything around me, and it is a double edged personality trait. On one hand, you see promise and the good traits in the people and opportunities around you. You want to help and see these people and things thrive, grow, and succeed. From the second you meet
Although some would have you believe that the prevalence of genetic disorders in these dogs is exaggerated, much evidence points the other way. Some estimates claim up to 25% of dogs registered in the American Kennel Club have some genetic complication. (Lemonick, np.) Since American Kennel Club breed standards only pertain to physical appearance, dogs with unseen problems are allowed to pass on these defects, so long as exteriorly they conform to expectations. Because if this, vast amounts of medical conditions are becoming increasingly common among registered dogs. As the arbiter of purebred dog breeding, the American Kennel Club has a heightened responsibility to help protect the health of the breeds they represent. Despite this, the
With such a large selection of dog breeds out there, there is also a wide variety of dog nutrition needs that match every breed. Finding the most efficient food for your dog will require some researches. A veterinarian may be able to give you useful suggestions about the type of food that is the healthiest for your pet. Some people also make the homemade dog food for their dogs from scratch using natural, high-quality ingredients. Dog food formulas that specify the needs of your specific dog and his breed may be the best choice you can make.
They are also very obedient which means that you can teach them things without half trying to. In fact, if you repeat something a couple of times that is all that is usually required. Because they are very intelligent and instinctively obedient, a hard handed approach should never be taken with them. By nature they are very devoted to their owners and doing anything that will shake their faith in you will make them unnecessarily aggressive and ill tempered. An ill tempered German Shepherd is very difficult to control which is the reason why you will find so many dogs, little more than pups, at the pound. It is usually the owners who are at fault, never the dog.
Labrador retrievers are one of the most popular pets in the United States, but not always for the right reasons. Many times people will get a lab hoping it will fulfill their dreams without even considering the pros and cons. Labs are typically very loveable, and energetic, but they can also be very detrimental.
On March 11, 2011, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake damaged a large portion of the eastern coast of Japan and formed a tsunami that caused nuclear reactors to become unstable. These three nuclear reactors that became unstable, made an already devastated place turn into a very hazardous place to be. The tsunami alone did insurmountable damage to the buildings on the east coast, this also resulted in thousands of people’s deaths. The tsunami blocked multiple roads and highways, cut off water and electricity for millions of households, and created an unfortunate situation for the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plants. The nuclear power plants and the tsunami created a national crisis in Japan
