Not all country musicians have the guts to stay afloat and be resilient, causing some of them to fall off the trail and never regained what they started anymore. Some have succumbed into the notion that being known once and for a short period of time will suit them well already, while for those who planned to stay as soon as their audience needs them, loving the craft and being addicted to fame are key points for you to succeed. I almost always listen to country music. My favorite artists/bands are Brad Paisley and Dan and Shay. I enjoy listening to their music because I can relate to their songs. Two of my favorite Brad Paisley songs would be “Perfect Storm”, or “She’s Everything”. Dan and Shay sing two songs that I really enjoy listening to “Stop, Drop, and Roll” and “What You Do to Me”. Regardless of George Strait's incredible history of recognition and awards, he has always been one of my favorite country music artists. I am a true, long time fan of traditional country and I love his style in particular because of the dash of honky tonk and swing music that comes with it. My husband has roots in Texas and we spend quite a bit of time there on vacation. We enjoy the cowboy lifestyle and have always spent our free time enjoying country music, country two step dancing at the dance hall, being outside horseback riding, attending the rodeo, visiting the county fair and enjoying the laid back country life. One day we plan on moving back to Texas permanently and in the meantime, George's music makes us feel at home wherever we are.
