According to Houser (2015) "Among the most important databases for nursing research is CINAHL (Cumulative Index for Nursing and Allied Health Literature), a collection of bibliographic records of articles, books, dissertations, and conference proceedings in nursing, biomedicine, and allied health. A subscription-based service, it is currently offered through EBSCO , a scholarly publisher." It is essential to be able to have resources such as EBSCO when it comes to clinical research since there is so many sources in the internet. When it comes to research we have to take into consideration where our sources are coming especially when there are websites such as WebMD

3: Out of all the research topics, this topic is the one I know the least about. Because research papers, although inadvertent, have bias due to the fact that outside knowledge had attained before the actual research, I thought

The database that is relevant to my nursing clinical issue is EBSCO database. This is what I planned to use researching my topic. My issue will be the focus on hypertension, and why the rate of hypertension is more pronounced with a specific ethnic group as opposed to the dominant group in society.
