It was late afternoon and my sisters and I were tired from work, so, we decided to go out and eat. As we were getting ready, we were trying to figure out where we can eat. My older sister Fariah mentioned that her boyfriend and herself went to a Japanese restaurant called Sakura and mentioned how the food and service was great. I looked up the restaurant and their reviews had 4.1 stars on Google reviews and was voted the 2nd best restaurant in the U.S. by Consumer Reports Magazine. Initially we were going to the Cheesecake Factory, but now we were convinced to go to Sakura for the first time. The decision to go to eat at Sakura was the best decision ever. As he started his grill, we were ordering our meals. Dinner entrees were priced from five through forty dollars. I got my meal which was tofu dinner, it was priced sixteen dollars, while the teriyaki chicken (which my sisters ordered) was nineteen dollars. Other dinner meals like steak was priced from twenty-three to twenty-eight dollars, seafood dinner was priced from twenty-three to forty dollars, and combinations of dinner entrees were priced from twenty-four to forty dollars. He asked if I my meal was vegetarian or vegan, I told him it was vegetarian. He asked everyone if he could start on my meal, everyone agreed. As he was starting to cook my food he attempted use a trick to crack the eggs. The first time it wasn’t successful he made a joke and everyone laughed. The second time he threw the egg up and cracked it with the edge of the spatula. When my food was finished, he started on everyone else; that’s when the entertainment really started. When he was cooking the rice, he took the oil and made a “rice volcano”. Everyone was astonished. Bursting flames with colors of blue, yellow, and orange was right in front of our faces. We could feel the warmth of the fire, but it wasn’t hot enough to burn us. He also did the cracking the eggs trick too, but the funniest trick was yet to come.
