Nightmare. Heart pounding, lungs screaming, feet aching. Jesse quickened her pace as she tried to run away as fast as she could. She couldn’t believe it, everyone’s gone, everyone’s dead. *** Jesse felt as if her head was splitting into two as she opened her eyes slowly, the dark forest in front of her. She didn’t know where she was, she was slumped back against a tree, the car nowhere in sight. “A-Allerie,” she cried out, “Allerie!” She cried out again, louder this time. She felt worry well up inside her as she tried to search her surroundings to search for the brown tuft of hair she’s always been with. No luck. “Jack? Dean?” She tried shouting for her other friends who were with her but she still had no luck. “This can’t be happening,” She muttered to herself as she slowly stood up, she felt something drip from her forehead as she stood up, she touched it lightly, the moonlight her only source of light. “It shouldn’t have been like this,” She muttered again, as she wiped her bloody hands against her clothes. She squinted at her dark surroundings, looking for something-- anything that could help her. “Please, someone help me!” She walked slowly and steadily towards the thick trees of the forest, hoping that she was going the right way towards the highway. “Allerie!
