I have known Demelio Tua ever since he enrolled in my World History class as a Sophomore three years ago, I have him again in my US Government Class in his Senior year this year. I found him to be an exceptionally bright student with a curious mind who loves to learn new things. He is outspoken and has been actively participating in all the classroom activities. He is an excellent debater who makes class debates such an interesting and informative activity with his knowledge and wit. Another reason I enjoy having him in my class is because he asks plenty of question that helps maximize the effectiveness of class discussions, and his questions help those quiet students who are too shy to ask questions learn things they otherwise would not have

We saw them interview some people from the event. The volunteers on the other hand, were either helping people sell food, paint people’s face, or ask people if they want to donate some change. They
Traveling to Tumacacori took me about twenty five minutes to half an hour to get there. The first thing that I saw at Tumacacori was the mission and the front of the church. The front of the church used to be painted with bright colors. The pediment of the church was reconstructed in 1921. The church is made up of three stories the baptistery which is on the ground floor, the robing room on the next floor and the last floor is where the bell and the arches are found. The inside of the church is called the nave which is the central part of the church. The first thing that I saw when I walked in the church was the ruins and what caught my attention a lot was that there was a cross made out of flowers in the center of the alter. This church was

My family has many traditions one of them is to make tamales on Christmas Eve so they are ready for Christmas Day. My family stays up on Christmas Eve and we stay up all night till the clock hits 12:00, that is when we start opening presents. Later on we go to sleep/take a nap and wake up so we can do El Nacimiento de Dios. El Nacimiento de Dios is when our family gathers around the setting of where Jesus was born and "we see his birth". We usually do a posada which is huge dinner with many types of Mexican foods like tamales, posole, rice, beans, etc. Each year my grandma, grandma, uncle, aunt, and some cousins come for Christmas from Mexico and we have a family gathering where we meet our family members in which we have not seen for a long
