Heroism
There are many definitions for heroism, both made by bias and dictionary. The dictionary definition is “great bravery,” but in my opinion, there are many more. In all, a hero can be anyone who is willing to do good, no matter what. What they do is make a difference.
Heroes are people who courageous enough to do what it takes to do good. They may be brutal or your friendly everyday Spiderman type of hero, but they always get the job done. Heroes are .people who volunteer to save, not expecting pay. Heroes are people who save, no matter what the criticism is against them is and will also save the person that they may even hate.

Heroes come in different shapes, sizes, and looks. Maybe someone you saw on the street one day was heroic for saving someone’s life in a car accident. A hero to me is someone who can be brave in situations that aren’t so safe, and take a risk to make sure everyone is okay, no matter who

According to the dictionary, a hero is “a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.” I believe, however, that a hero is someone who exceeds expectations and does not stick to the status quo. Heroes will always try to do the right thing. They will put other people’s life above their own if they are given the chance to. This may include running into a fire to save someone, or helping a friend out if it is the right thing to do.
Heroes have different backgrounds, personalities, and journeys. A hero is someone who is willing to make sacrifices for others, making their lives a little better. Heroes are there for people; it’s what they do. A very big hero in my life is my mother.
People can define heroism different ways depending on what they think it means, based on culture and the era. A hero is someone who has superhuman strength, confidence, craftiness. A hero is also someone who is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. They are also brave, clever and willing to help others. Odysseus from The Odyssey can be represented as a hero.
The definition of a hero is not a simple dictionary definition. Heroism is a complex idea, but many people in history have been regarded as heroes. These great figures were honored by all, it is they who embody heroism. They made a large change for the better in our society. While this change is what made them stand out, all you need to be is one who helps and trusts others even if you have to sacrifice something for them.

Hero A hero is considered to be somebody who is brave and admired, but I feel like “hero” has a different definition. I think heroes are people with great personality and a unique way of life. They are always going out of their way to help people, and never leave anyone behind. They may save lives, but it’s not necessary in my head. People such as firefighters, police officers, and hospital workers are their own kind of hero.
A hero is a man of courage and ability who is admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. A hero is a person who does not come along very often in any time period. He is a special person, who is a step above the average person in the way that he handles any situation that may arise.
“ A hero is somebody who voluntarily walks into the unknown .” When a hero keeps on going and never stop trying that makes them a hero.When a hero puts there life at risk just to save another life, even though it could mean losing their own that makes them a hero. Someone who goes through great challenges but never stops trying is a hero. Ahero is not someone who gives up or someone who is selfish.Heroism is being selflessness, someone who makes sacrifices, and someone who never gives up.
Heroes are classified and viewed in thousands of different ways depending on the individual on whom is describing them. A hero is somebody who goes above and beyond expectations and exceeds all the limitations put on them. Heroes are overall strong characters and do not let people knock them down no matter the instance. Additionally, heroes are non-judgemental and help everyone even if they do not get along. In the movie, The Magnificent Seven, all the characters exemplify heroism, but Chris goes above and beyond everyone else.
Being a hero is someone who makes a sacrifice to better others. They are not a famous athlete or musician. My version of a hero spends twelve months at a time away from their families. They experience physical and mental trauma. Heroes risk their life for their country. Heroes are men and women in the United States military.
Heroes are willing to face danger sacrificing their lives for others. Heroism is not just demonstrated by being kind but being brave and courageous and willing to make a change, not worried about what could happen if the challenge is faced. Heroes are courageous and never doubt themselves.
“Heroes are everyday, common people. Most of what they do goes unheralded, unappreciated. And that, ironically, is heroism: not to be recognized” (Oliver Stone pg. 73). Heroism doesn’t offer recognition or rewards, in fact, most heroes go unnoticed by the public. People are heroes because they care about problems that might not affect them, but may affect other people in a harmful way. Heroes can be afraid, but over time they have to overcome their fears and achieve what they are shooting for. They are never selfish, and are always looking out for others, even if that means they have to go out of their way to help someone. Heroism always means determination, and always continuing to push through the hard obstacles in life that they might
Heroes are prevalent in everyone’s life. Whether someone’s hero is a living person or a fabled character from a movie, everybody has come into contact with some sort of hero. In fact, the concept of heroes has existed for hundreds of years, dating all the way back to Ancient Greece. Over time, heroes have drastically changed. As society has evolved, our heroes have evolved with it. Their goals and motivations have changed to coincide with the views of modern society. Modern day heroes have less selfish motives, better qualities, and are portrayed differently than ancient heroes.
