Declaration of Independence
Preamble
We the students of Anaheim High School, find it inevitable to join together in order to create a better school environment, which would dissolve the ineffective ways of discipline and create a more comfortable learning environment for the students. The ineffective ways of correcting bad behavior being employed by the Anaheim Union High School District, and the administrative, teacher and staff bodies of this school. With all due respect, we would like to bring into light the issues with our discipline system and put forth our opinions on the matter.

Let it be known that we are entitled to certain rights as high school students. That is, we have the right to Second Chances, Happiness, Physical
Our Founding Fathers risked their lives and the lives of their families to make a statement to the empire of Great Britain and the rest of the world. The document they created would have been viewed as treason by the British government, and had they failed in their great plight for independence they would likely have lost everything, including their lives.

The Declaration of Independence is a 1,458-word written document signed by 56 men on July 4, 1776. In addition, the main purpose of the document was to declare the 13 American colonies free from the ruling of Great Britain. Further, the writing of this document gave birth to a whole new country named the United States of America. This document holds a remarkable amount of meaning. The opening of the document is known as the preamble. It states the purpose of writing the Declaration of Independence and declares that “all Men are created equal” and that they have the rights to “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”. The reasons we want to leave include but aren't limited to the price of lunch, the finals tests, the PSSAs, taking the Keystones, homework, we want school to start later, we want a longer lunch, we also want better food at lunch, recess, a more lenient website filter, we would like to pick are seats in every class, we want to be allowed to talk during study hall, we would also like better laptops that have what we need, we also want to be able to connect to the internet on every device, and pick when we have are classes.
The most powerful statement in the Declaration of Independence talks about how we the people have a choice to think, speak and act the way we want as long as it doesn’t affect another person’s pursuit of happiness. The statement is powerful because we can do as we please without it being a crime under certain circumstances such as taking things that we want without paying, that will be a crime. The statement is very relevant in today’s society because we are still free from other countries’ ruling. The Declaration of Independence states that “It implies the right to think, speak, or act however one wishes...we need to consider other people’s rights as we exercise our own freedoms” (paragraph 1). When in the Course of Human Events, It is necessary that high school students have the opportunity to have jobs at their age. It is necessary they have one so they can provide for their families by helping paying the bills and buying groceries, also to be more prepared for the real world that awaits them after high school.

The Declaration of Independence brought America its independence, and it self, as well as our constitution. The declaration of independence had many positive effects on America. The Declaration of Independence is the usual name of a statement adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. This stated that the thirteen American colonies, called themselves the thirteen newly independent sovereign states, and that they were no longer a part of the British Empire. Instead of staying in the British Empire, they formed a new nation; the United States of America. Many people wanted independence, but John Adams really believe in and pushed for independence. When in the course of human events, us teens feel the need to compose our own Declaration of Independence so everyone worldwide can observe as well as understand why we feel the need to be independent and equal to everyone else around us including our parents. We would like to show them that we can be independent and don’t always need to count on them. This means we would need to prove to them what we are capable of doing on our own.
