Is the Death Penalty Inhumane?
The death penalty is a huge discussion in our society today. There is so much controversy as to when and where it should be used. Brooke and I believe that the death penalty should be used on those that commit a horrible crime, and hopefully after our essay, you will too. Some say the unalienable rights of the Constitution are violated when the death penalty is called upon. Your rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are taken away, right? Wrong. Most judicial officials believe that if you take any of those rights away from another person, you should not receive them yourself. Not only will it free up prisons, but there will be less crime on the streets.
