Mr. Davit Shanto and I have worked closely together for the past year and a half. During that timespan, Davit has been a self-starter and an industrious contributor to the team endeavors. In addition to having an extraordinary degree of integrity and that type of person that brings out the best in those around him; he is one of those unique character who can both follow directions and take the leadership role, as appropriate. He is one of those individuals where I depended on him if I asked him or put him on projects, that either the task or project will be done by a certain deadline. He is strong in time management and his competence extends above and beyond the skills for which he was initially hired.
For instance, when asked to participate
Thesis: Dally is a hero because he is strong and brave but he is not a hero because he is selfish.
My favorite part of the book is when JD found out that he did not have AIDs because it was the most interesting thing in the book and it had me on the edge of my seat. My favorite character is JD because he is very persistent with everything he does , he is honest ,and he was one of the smartest characters in the book. The book was about a guy name JD dawson who is from the ghetto part of oakland, California who try to make a better life for himself by going to college. Most of the guys who JD grew up with are dead or in jail but when one of his best friends die that's a wake up call for him so when he is accepted into the university of atlanta he goes without thinking twice. When he gets to atlanta he finds trouble when he meets a girl named
Jonas, Lina, and Doon all posses the stereotypical traits of a hero. They are intelligent, courageous, and caring but they also have individual traits that led them to their success. These traits are solidified by their actions, words and thoughts throughout the story. Doon was serious and passionate, which came off as rude to some, but helped him and lina find their way out of Ember. He displays this trait in his frequent outbursts, such as his first on page thirteen, when he shouts to his class, “‘But Ember is not prospering’...’Everything is getting worse and worse.’”.Another trait of his is trust, as he never doubts for one second lina’s actions and words, but instead goes along with them. This is shown on page 112 , where Lina realizes
Tre is an African American male whose family’s status would be classified as low socioeconomic. Tre lives in Los Angeles, Calfironia where his neighbor is known as “the hood”. On a daily basis, Tre, his family, and his friends are exposed to violence, drugs, gangs, profanity, and crime. Tre’s presenting problem is trying to survive in the hood where deaths await.
Ethen used to play baseball when he was little. When he was little he played for about 3 years of baseball, afterwards he started to lose interest in baseball and started to play curling. Therefore after playing curling for about 4 years he gave up sports. As of next week Ethen is starting crossfit in Lacombe, which is exciting news for Ethen. In other news, Ethan favorites fishing because he thinks it’s relaxing and he enjoys sitting and waiting for the moment when the fish bites his line.
Delia is considered an ideal African American woman while Sykes is the scum of the earth making Delia’s life as miserable as he can literally biting off the hand that feeds him. Delia held on through sickness and in health as well as beatings and adultery so the union between Delia and Sykes is by no means a pretty one. Lots of marriages were unhappy marriages in the 1920s because men and women were not considered equal, (Hurston 2013). My grandmother married very young and life was hard for her dealing with a dominating husband and back in those days things that went on in the home stayed in the home and was not discussed. Women suffered in silence not having a place to go for help and merely rode the situation out rather than leaving. Delia
Aidan is fortunate to be a part of Den 6, and very much enjoys his time with the boys. These meetings have been a fun opportunity for him to practice his leadership skills.
I think that anyone could pick any one of those but the one that stood out the most to me is that I saw him as a warrior. Some characteristics I think show this is being disciplined, strong not only phyisically but also emotionally and mentally, and also couragous. The sniperis obviously very disciplined this is showe when he was hungry because he hasnt eaten anythingsince morning. Also because he patientry waits for an enremy to come by probably waiting longer than any normal person could. He is emotionally and mentally strong because he has probably ended countless lives yet he still fights for his country because he thinks it i right. I count him as couragous because when all odds are against him he presevieres and does what is
Throughout the play, persecution was an outcome of greed. Thomas Putnam a wealthy man is extremely caught up in wanting more land. He wants George Jacobs land so bad he’s starting to blame innocent people of witchcraft so he can take over Jacobs 600 acres. Putnam had his daughter accuse Jacobs of sending his spirits out on her. This led to persecution by George Jacobs being hanged and Putnam ended up getting the forfeited 600 acres. This is clear when Giles Corey said, “if Jacobs hangs for a witch he forfeits up his property- that’s law! And there is none but Putnam with the coin to buy so great a piece” (Miller 186). Putnam wanted Jacob dead so he can have his land. Another character that falls into the theme greed, is Abagail. Abagail uses greed to pursue john after he called off the affair because Abagail wants Elizabeth dead so she can have john all
In modern times, an FBI agent investigating a bank robbery unwittingly teams up with a King Arthur’s sister, a sorcerer, who is seeking revenge on the man who cast a spell on her brother.
The Visit, a book filled with gruesome and deplorable behaviors and actions, contains scarcely any rational thought, reasoning, and sympathy. Only one character is seen to use these values during the story. The Teacher is a humanist who seeks to work for the public good, as he attempts to reason rationally with Claire, who serves to display the principle that rational thought and good cannot triumph over evil.
Thank you for lunch yesterday and taking the time to meet with me. I appreciated your candor and honesty regarding the position in the energy division within One Connect Inc. Unfortunately given the raw canvassing/cold calling, commission based only position that could take months to ramp up and make income, I don’t feel that would be a fit for me.
