David Zander Dialectical Journal Analysis

Terra, a beautiful baby girl, was the daughter of Glenn and CoCo. Glenn and CoCo weren’t ordinary folk. They were king and queen of the large city Charleston. On the day of Terra’s birth, CoCo was enduring tremendous amounts of pain in her lower abdomen, as if the all mighty Zeus himself struck her with a bolt of lightning. The baby was coming and CoCo was stricken with sickness. The guards were rushed to retrieve the miraculous healing plant that was said to cure any illness. After almost an hour of labor Terra was welcomed into the world. Unfortunately, the healing plant didn’t have much effect on CoCo, but it was just enough to heal Terra. 1. Pheoby's moral code is differs from the towns, because Pheoby is best friends with Janie, Pheoby doesn't see Janie as Mrs. Joe Starks like the rest of the town. As Janie is walking through town, the ladies on Pheoby's porch make snide comments about Janie's, “blue overhalls” (2), and questions, “ Where she [leave] dat young lad of a boy she went off her with” (2). While Pheoby decides to ignore their comments, and check on Janie. I believe Pheoby's code is 'truly moral' because, she doesn't judge Janie and her choices like the rest of the town.

Chapter 1: The hitch-hiker stood up and looked across through the windows. “Could ya give me a lift, mister? The driver looked quickly back at the restaurant for a second. Didn’ you see the No Riders sticker on the win’shield? Sure—I seen it. But sometimes a guy’ll be a good guy even if some rich bastard makes him carry a sticker.” The driver, getting slowly into the truck, considered the parts of this answer. He earned early release for good behavior, and now he is hitchhiking his way home. His family, not one for letter writing, is unaware of his return. As Tom travels the hot and dusty road, his feet become sore and blistered from the new shoes that were given to him on his release from prison. He is anxious to get home, to see how much has changed in the four years

It's mid-June and Tom Joad is released from a state penitentiary from being incarcerated for four years. It was a case of manslaughter convictions. What he doesn't know is that the once crop filled town is now the lurid town with his family's farm and the crops are completely destroyed. In this passage, Liesel goes down to the basement to do some exercise with Max after the conversation with her Mama. With the help from Max, Liesel was able to complete many push-ups that night. 1. I do believe Jones is being truthful about Ebert, for the most part. I could see how it could be possible that Jones may have “sweetened” it up because he saw Ebert as a real good person. Ebert comes of as an honest and innocent person so I do believe he is being truthful about himself. I’m more likely to believe what someone says about their self because no one knows you better than you.

The underworld seemed to be getting colder and I couldn’t tell if it was because I’d fled the room that was lit or because Hades’s heart had been nearly ripped out. Zander pulled his focus back to the map, to Jessime, and began to bicker over their rout, but Garrin ended it swiftly with, “Look you lot!” And grabbed their attention quickly as he confronted them both, “Quit your squabbling! The lady already gave us the answer!” Like a parent to two fighting brothers, he laid rest to their differences, for now. Zander sat down first, crossed his arms and grimace. The scholar was more irritated that he let himself stoop to Jessime’s level. Jessime never sat back down, he just clinched his fist.
