The Dangers of a Gun In the 21st century, raging riots are common in the United States of America. In fact, the diversity of opinions often leads to dissension and discord, and with these unstable circumstances, crimes of passion can occur quite frequently. Specifically, terrorists, murderers, bombers, and other mentally incompetent people remain discreet predators among the innocent. However, many would argue that guns, especially the rise of automatic weapons, have only led to the increase of such violence. Concisely, guns, whether hand guns, rifles, or shotguns, have led to a multitude of problems for both those that wield them and those that fear them because of the dangerous situations that can result. Children often can be the victims of accidents involving guns. These accidents usually occur due to the child's lack of knowledge concerning the dangers of the weapon and their undeniable curiosity involving the unknown. Simply, parents do not educate their children in the correct manner to handle a gun, and they often place their weapons in an easily accessible location, resulting in dire consequences. Specifically, the illegal sale of firearms on the streets and the lack of background checks in formal business transactions involving firearms are the most significant issues to be resolved. By the United States making firearms easy to access, violence only increases. For example, drug dealers, gangs, and prostitutes all seek dominance, and their weapon of choice is the gun. Of course, guns are significant on the street because they are easily concealed and fired.
