I have been a Dallas Cowboys fan since the 1990s, and I've stuck with my team even through the worst of times. It was a little rough rooting for the most-hated team in sports, but I will always stand by the Cowboys. Last year was magical, and I'm hopeful the team will be even better this 2015-16 season. Therefore, I am proclaiming that the Dallas Cowboys will win Super Bowl 50. Here are five reasons why. Number One: Tony Romo. When Romo is at his best, he is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. If he stays healthy, Romo can lead the Cowboys to the promise land. Let me correct myself, if Romo doesn't experience a season-ending injury, the Cowboys will definitely be in the Super Bowl this season. Romo has become accustomed to playing …show more content…
He just signed a $70 million contract with the Cowboys, and I know he's ready to prove he is worth every cent. The wide receiver is entering his sixth year in the league, and his career numbers so far are on-pace with the other WR greats in the NFL. Bryant has recorded 381 receptions for 5,424 yards, and he has an impressive 56 touchdowns. Number Three: Their offensive line. The Cowboys offensive line was perfect last season, and they kept the defense away from their star quarterback Tony Romo. The "Great Wall" was a big reason for the Cowboys' success, and if Tyron Smith can remain healthy this season, defensives won't stand a chance against the Cowboys' offensive line. Number Four: The Cowboys just signed two linebackers. America's team just added two solid linebackers to their roster. Ka'Lial Glaud and Jonathan Brown were just signed to the team on Monday. Although the two haven't been able to truly prove themselves on the field, they are great pickups for the Cowboys. The linebacker position is probably the Cowboys' weakest link, after several of their linebackers were sidelined last season due to injuries. Hopefully, Sean Lee will be ready to compete once this upcoming season
Before Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott came to the Dallas Cowboys they weren’t doing so great. These two have put up amazing numbers that have helped the Cowboys incredibly.
OK, so he hasn 't been horrific since he took over for a struggling Brandon Weeden, who took over for an injured Tony Romo. (the fact that, there are this many quarterbacks in the talks for the Cowboys this season is beyond heartbreaking) Anyway, Cassel has shown some life and even made some impressive plays on the field. However, we are still sitting in at 2-6 and dead last in already abysmal division. Other than a 30-6 loss to the New England Patriots the Cowboys have been in every game until the last quarter, most of those games pushing into the final seconds and two of them even into overtime. Sounds accurate right Cowboy 's fans? If the Cowboys lose its always in a heart stopping, gut wrenching fashion. Nonetheless, should all of these losses lay at the feet of our man under center? Of course not, but on the other hand he has played mediocre football at best. Sometimes its about finding the quarterback that just knows how to win. I am not persuaded Cassel is able to do that. He hasn 't in the time he has worn the star anyway. Even though Cassel put up his best game as a Cowboy in the 33-27 overtime loss to the Eagles last Sunday night, it still has one play that will forever haunt him, and the fans I imagine. Cassel threw for 299 yards, 3 touchdowns, and the main focus unfortunately for Cassel is that one interception he threw in
Davon Coleman is an interesting player. He has the physical tools to play in the NFL. It’s just he never would take things serious. These last few weeks he’s been having great practices as well as playing good in the game. However he does need to work on developing more pass rushing moves instead of always trying to bull rush an offensive lineman. Coleman will be fighting with Ken Bishop for a roster spot. Jack Crawford maybe listed as a defensive lineman but he really now is a defensive tackle in the three technique behind Tyrone Crawford. Just like last year when the Cowboys moved Tyrone from defensive end to defense tackle position he found his comfort level and started to go beast mode. Jack is doing the same exact thing the coaching staff
It has been 40 years since the Seattle Seahawks entered the NFL. The Seahawks were created in 1976. They have been though three stadiums and lots of bad seasons. There have been lots of good seasons too. In the past seven years, the Seahawks have made three Superbowl appearances. Sadly, they are 1-2 in the Superbowl. Today, the franchise is bigger than ever. They hold the record for being the loudest stadium. Also, they have one of the best home-winning records. This is the history of the Seattle Seahawks.
Throughout his first two games Elliot seemed like a regular rookie who wasn’t patient in the backfield and just wanted to blow through the hole as he only averaged 67 yards per a game but did find the endzone twice. But after this Elliot took the league by storm and blew up and hasn’t looked back from his poor first 2 game performance. In the last 10 games Elliot is averaging over 115 yards per game and finding the end zone 11 times through a 10 game span. He is on pace to surpass 1700 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns. To put this into comparison with some of the best rookie seasons by nfl running backs none can compare except for eric Dickerson who rushed for 1800 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns which are both rookie records. Dickerson ended up becoming a hall of famer and we could be saying the same for ezikial Elliot. As he is having one of the rookie seasons ever and has lead the dallas cowboys to an 11-1 record and leads the league in pro bowl votes. He is pretty much a near lock for rookie of the year and if his dominance continiues he possibly has a shot at the MVP as a rookie which has only unofficially been done by a man we named early earl Campbell who was named nfl MVP by pro football writers of
Since this is only his rookie season there is lots of room for improvement. I believe that he can make it to the hall of fame. But it is crucial that he stays at the Cowboys. First of all our fanbase is huge and supportive. Second of all we have the best offensive line in football. If you do not have good blockers your running back would go no where. Hopefully he can be better than Emmitt Smith.
Since 1971, the Dallas Cowboys haven’t had a game in Dallas. In fact, their stadium isn’t even in that city. It’s in Arlington, Texas!
At the half the Packers led 17-6 and there did not seem to be much hope for Dallas; however things quickly changed in the second-half when the Cowboys scored 36 points in the final two quarters. Garret connected with Alvin Harper for a 45 yard touchdown followed by a 36 yard touchdown to Michael Irvin and a 63 yarder to Emmitt
Why will they win the super bowl people might ask because they have great teamwork skills and have a good offence of coordinator. People might say they don't have anyone good on there team. That would be not true with Demarco Murray , Darren Sproles and Sam Bradford. This three make a good team. They are fast good at screens and can run.
But they are still “Americas Team”, the name has been stuck with them since the late 70’s. . "We don't beat our chests about it, and we don't view it as a contest with other professional sports teams." says team spokesman Rich Dalrymple. But in recent news the Cowboys finished their 2014 season at 12-4 and 1st in the NFC East. The products produced go hand in hand, some products are Hall of Famers like Roger Staubach, Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, Tony Dorsett, Tom Landry and so much more. Also soon to be Hall of Famers like Dez Bryant. The Cowboys products are merchandise and apparel, and the ultimate product is the Stadium. AT&T Stadium brings a lot of tourism to the Cowboys and also to the city of Dallas, they products they are selling at the Stadium are game experience and the big jumbo screen over the field. The screen helped out a lot with the people stuck in the nose-bleed seats which is why their ticket sales have went up since the building of the stadium. The stadium is portrayed in a lot of AT&T’s commercials on TV too. On DallasCowboys.com they Cowboys have a long list of services and rules for the guest of AT&T
They did it in large part because of three players (“Aikman”) Troy Aikman was a very big factor on the cowboys team. Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys in 1989, when Dallas had been one of the most successful and popular teams in NFL history (“Aikman”). For multiple years the cowboys have always been the most dominant team in the NFL. Troy Aikman is one the greatest quarterback to do it for the Cowboys; he completed 12 seasons with them (“Aikman”).He was put in the Hall Of Fame for his performance with the cowboys he led them to multiple championships. Before he came in to the NFL, he was the third rated passer in NCAA history. He played the gamewith passion there was not a game where he played just flat out horrible he has always been the top quarterbacks at every level he played. An All-American at UCLA, Aikman joined the Dallas Cowboys as the first overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft
There’s proof in the sauce that taking a running back in the first round is risky, considering the position has the shortest average life span of 2.57 years. With that in mind, more than a few out in the sea of draft graders and examiners have given the Cowboys’ brass two thumbs down for drafting extremely talented Ohio State prospect Ezekiel Elliott with their premium fourth overall pick.
Cowboys are one of the NFL teams to have the most super bowl wins. Cowboys have 5 super bowl wins, Troy Aikman the quarterback for that time took the Cowboys to 3 out of the 5 superbowls they won. The Cowboys won the super bowl in 1972, 1978, 1993, 1994, and 1996. This year the Cowboys are making it to the playoffs and have a chance at the super bowl and another super bowl win in their franchise.
Along with that strength though, comes a weakness. The history of the Cowboys is a history of excellence and winning which is hard to hold and be consistent with in the NFL. Winning three Super Bowl titles in four years is a hard mark to reach but ever since that accomplishment the Cowboys have been nowhere near replicating that achievement. The fan base was created through the great seasons of football that the Cowboys have
Football is a game that’s ultimately won at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The Dallas Cowboys currently have 12 players who’ve been enshrined out of their 14 overall members in the Hall. 8 have made it on offense, 4 have made it on defense, and though getting after the quarterback starts from the D-lineman, the Cowboys have had a few second level defenders at linebacker that impacted their defense to triumph.
