The briefing room was full. The room was tensely silent. Two SWAT teams sat in the room together. They all wore fatigues, Black was the FBI and the brownish green was the Sheriff’s office, and heavy boots. “So, what’s this about?” Sargent Benton finally asked. “I don’t know. All we were told is that this is a large raid and we would find out when we got here,” replied an FBI agent, shrugging his shoulders. “Well… Jefferson… we are about to find out,” replied a Deputy, as he nodded to the front of the room. Uh-oh. At the front of the room were three people. The Ada County Sheriff, a detective, and an FBI agent. After that the FBI agent and detective explained what was going on. Several years earlier a religious group had developed a …show more content…
Each man strapped on a black Kevlar vest, a black face mask under their helmets (same color as their fatigues), and black knee pads. The station was alive with the chink… clank snap of M4s being loaded. Plastic clattered together as men grabbed flash grenades and extra magazines. There was the scrapping of metal as officers grabbed battering rams and, as well as a member of each team grabbing a shield and breaching charges. What seemed like an eternity was only about ten minutes and they were on loading up and ready to go. With that four black SUVs cut their way through the midnight darkness to the place. At about three miles out each vehicle turned out their lights and drove via moonlight. At the gated entrance to the dirt road was a lone guard wide awake, packing body armor and an AR-15. The guard would have had been able to get one of the FBI agents that got out but not all 32 officers. Apparently knowing this he surrendered his rifle and was placed in cuffs. After securing him to one of the metal fence posts below the wiring, another officer went to cut the lock holding the gate shut. Click. Though it was quiet, everyone might as well have had cold water down their …show more content…
After which Agent Riles hurried to a nearby sagebrush and yanked the wires off a battery. “Let’s go. By this point they know we’re coming,” He ordered as he went back to the nearest SUV. “What I would give for a truly armored vehicle,” mumbled an officer as he climbed in his vehicle. The SUVs raced toward their target as fast as they dared. The teams began departing the vehicles, and the squads made their way toward the imposing compound. The silence was eerie, and the tension made the cool air suddenly feel like a weighted blanket on a summer day, as the buildings loomed ahead. Flashlights played across the building as officers scanned the buildings for people. Bang! Thwap! With that the person in Agent Riles squad that had the shield collapsed mid step. Within seconds the whole compound was alive with gun fire. “To the wall! To the wall!” Yelled Riles as he grabbed the agent. Bullets flew all across the compound as officers and agents tried to shoot and get inside. Muzzle flashes mixed with flashlight beams made it almost impossible to see what was going on. He could see everything but nothing all at once. He could see the flashes of light but couldn’t see the people. Bullets whizzed by. Walls chipped away and or dirt jump with each impact. Soon his comm went from silent to so full of noise that the voices were overlapping. He was so focused on getting to the wall that he barely noticed the agent helping bring the body,
30. What do the FBI agents carry around with them as a reminder for what they are doing?-A pic of mark and his family
The reverberation of gunshots and humans screaming and crying in trepidation pulverized his heart profoundly. The circumstance’s exigency drove Sgt. Salazar to move rapidly around the bank towards the front, where he got a clear view through the window from the outside.
Facts: Officers saw suspicious activity approaching a group of youths in a high crime area. As they turn around the corner and got closer to the group, the group of four or five youths scattered. Hadari ran west and one of the Officer precede to a foot chase, during the chase Hadari tossed what
The mission was soon to begin. Fletcher and Marcel, along with the rest of their Unit were to breach through the main entrance, while the other Units would go through the sides of the warehouse and through the back. All leaders of each Unit were given some sort of intercom so that they could communicate. Fletcher had heard one of the commanders announce that they were ready and another voice responded, “Begin.” The leader put his intercom away and pulled a breaching device from its cartridge. Without being said, they all backed up as he attached the device to the doorway. Without hesitation, he detonated the charge. BOOM! Debris and dust flew everywhere. And just like that, they were
Trooper Newton successfully threw the throw-bot into the alpha side door and then began to operate it in the living room. Trooper Newton cleared the living room and kitchen area before driving the throw-bot down the hallway on the charlie side of the house. As Trooper Newton was driving the robot down the hallway, he called out “contact” and stated that he had visual of a male and a female coming out of the first bedroom on the left. The subjects then made their way to alpha side door and were detained and taken back to a secured location behind the staged vehicles. After several more minutes of attempting to have PATTERSON comply with the requests to come out with his hands up, the decision was made by the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) for Trooper Robert Orr who was on the bravo/charlie side to deploy gas with his 40MM launcher. As the team started to systematically don their gas masks, Trooper Newton gained visual contact of PATTERSON through the throw-bot coming out of the back bedroom on the bravo
"Sir!" One of the marines screamed as he saw the Spartan's body being flung into the air and crash into the ground. The plasma mortar didn't hit the spartan directly but he was still in the radius of the explosion. His shields were already drained partially before he got hit with the mortar, making the spartan in a very vulnerable position. Frankie was disoriented from the blast as the claxon alarms wailed in his helmet and his nose bleeding slightly. His arms and legs seemed heavy, his thoughts seemed to be going at a sluggish pace, and vision blurred. For what seemed like an eternity, he was in this state until a bright blue explosion about 30 feet from his location snapped him back into reality. He slowly got up on his feet and tried observing the scene. Five battered marines were running towards him, one holding a smoking rocket launcher."We took out the wraith while you were still on the ground, sir!" A marine said as they caught up to the spartan."Good work. Now we got to complete our current objective. Radio in to command to see if they can drop us a 'hog." Frankie instructed
“Well, good for them,” I snarled. “How far is my car from the side exit?”
"Cody in position" I whispered. "Affirmative." I heard the reply from Sam. She was all business and ready to go in the event of me needing her. "All units in position and Operation Devil Buster is a Go." I heard one of the techs rattle off from somewhere beside Sam. "All units?: I queried as I slid my camera out and began panning across what i found to be a heavily
Bob the Annex chief and the diplomats in Tripoli were attempting to get the Libyan government to send transportation and security to the airport to escort the response team to their destination. The Annex had been peaceful for quite a while after the firefight, and amid that time a few case officers came back to their rooms to assemble their possessions. Around 2:30 a.m., the men on the Building B saw cars touching base at the same parking area where the aggressors had amassed before. Over a fifteen-minute period, Tanto checked eight to ten autos touching base in ones and twos. The aggressors came one hundred yards of the east wall of the Annex, then fifty, then forty, and still the operators held their fire. From his post on the tower, prepared to engaged, Oz saw a car stopped on the furthest side of the Jersey barriers nears the Annex's back entryway, situated close to the northern corner of the east wall. In the first place Oz saw just a shadow, however then he made out the full figure of a man coming around the back of the car. As the man positioned his arm to toss something toward the back gate, Oz drew a bead on the man and pressed his trigger. A splendid white light flashed and a blast sounded, however the bomb the man had attempted to throw at the back door fell innocuously around six feet short. After that, Oz, D.B., and Tanto kept nothing down. The aggressors shot back, more than amid the principal firefight. Following a five-minute enduring trade from both sides, with much more fire than the first firefight, the aggressors started to flame back. Following five more minutes, all shooting from past the Annex halted. Oz left Tig alone at the tower so he could check the other battling positions, to check whether shooters required water, ammunition, a bathroom break, or whatever else. Oz climbed the stepping stool at Building C and joined Rone at a
The footsteps echoed all over the police station as he looked around it for the last time. With the supply bag on his right shoulder, he checked every room from valuable stuff. The chief's office was empty with papers all over the ground and one of the file cabinets was on the ground. Owen looked at it to relieve the memories of his chief and the things that he has done from everyone. The remaining officer didn't know what happened to the chief, but he hoped that he either died peacefully or got away with the military. Soon enough, he left the office and check the other rooms. They were also messy as the place was cleared out by both the military and the group that Owen was apart of.
They crawled back out of the shaft and accidentally dropped the heavy shaft plate onto the ground. It caused a very loud noise. Three of Victor’s men at the far end of the tunnel were alerted by the noise. “They must have found the guards at the entrance,” Alexander concluded. The men were now shooting down the tunnel as they rushed towards them. Alexander and Martha had to duck behind pillars to avoid being shot. Courageously, Alexander pulled out his gun and started firing back. Martha pulled out her gun and also started to fire back. Alexander hit one of them right in the chest. The shooting stopped and they knew that the two terrorists were reloading. Alexander, who also out of bullets, rushed towards one of the men and flipped him onto the ground knocking him out. As he
Chris’s special ops team had tried to search for him all day, but still no clue as to where he would be. As for me I had been going in around the buildings and saw one of the most horrible sights, which I could never forget. Literally, an army of dead bodies situated in the middle of the road. If I had remembered correctly, this had been the route I had taken to come to the air base. These bodies were not here before. This must have happened last night. Unconsciously, I had started to suspect Chris of being responsible for something like this.
Gestapo officers interrogated the group responsible young women and gave the order that all went down from the bus. At that moment, I told Jacques (Jacob) to be ready to jump out of the bus that would carry his and Ivette bag. ( Leah) I grabbed Ivette and my backpack, stretched my hand opened the back door and jumped the three together with Prince, who also jumped. We ran over the road edge and went through the brush to descend the cliff. Only when we’re already at the cliff edge the two men of the Gestapo seeing us. As they were in the middle of the interior of the bus, it’s impossible for them to come out and run behind us. The militiamen unable to run behind us either shut the air for us to stop. The cliff had quite a lot of weeds and bigger rocks behind which we could hide there. Leading the way Prince walked forward showing us the way. It thus walked a while, in the middle of the rocks, below the noise from the river water. We reached the river, but need to be careful since there we’re exposed, just the sky covered us, and a militia patrol possible detects us. I discovered a cave and there I decided to camp there with my brothers, Prince and myself, at least we’re hidden, protected from rain and
There was a stir in the queues as two of my Deputies arrived on Sheriff’s Department AirPeds. Both were fully kitted-up; helmet and body armour, with big eight round revolvers strapped across their chests and short pump action shotguns sitting
