Road to Hana
Boom! If we make one wrong move, we might fall! I'm not complaining though, me and my family were in Hawaii. We went to Hawaii for vacation, and don't get me wrong it was beautiful, you could smell the fresh, cool air. I loved it!
One day we were there, we went to the Road to Hana. We were going up a mountain and it didn't have a railing! I started to get used to it though, so I could have some fun. First we went to a snow cone place and got yummy snow cones.
Then we went to see whales, and we were pretty lucky, because we saw a lot of big, blue whales, with water spouting out there blowholes. It was really cool. We also stopped where there was a pretty waterfall that ran down gracefully, but was very loud.
Walking across the rocks on top of the river that comes from the waterfall seemed cool, so I did. Since i’m so clumsy I slipped and fell, but of course that’s not very surprising. I didn’t think it was funny but my dad got a kick out of it. My dad said “At least you didn’t die.” Whenever I tried to complain about it.

It’s called the Black Beach. Where the water tide is so strong my sister lost her shoe in the water, now that was funny.
After that little incident we stopped at this little store, it had the coolest stuff. I tried fresh coconut for the first time. I've always wanted to try it, but it was disgusting with that flakey feeling in my mouth. It was cool trying it though.
At first I didn’t even want to go to Hawaii, but it turned out really fun. You're probably wondering why I didn’t want to go, I was freaked out by the eight hour plane ride. It was all fun though even the plain ride! Wierd
When you’re not enjoying the amazing beaches or the many exciting activities located around the area you’ll feel right at home in the
We had been searching for something else to do while we were on our trip and we couldn't find anything.Since we didn't know what to do we went out to dinner in hope to find something to do later in the week while we were there.I do not particularly remember the name of the restaurant since it was chinese but it was absolutely amazing. We had to wait in line for a while since it was a very popular restaurant around that place. Once we got in we grabbed
When i went Destin, Florida. I went to Florida this summer after school was out . We went with my sisters best friend, and my best friend’s family. We drove from Arkansas all the way to Destin, Florida. The day we got there we went straight to the beach! It was the first time I had ever seen the ocean! The following day we decided to go down to the smoothie shack and get a smoothie then swim in the pool. The grown ups went to the beach while we were at the pool.
There is no other place I feel more at ease than at Kiawah Island. I have been going to this summer getaway every since I was a baby, and my love for this little island off the coast of South Carolina will never fade. When we roll up the driveway of 90 Jackstay Court, I feel a surge of elation, as I know I will be spending the next week with my family, cousins, and grandparents. I run my hands across the granite countertops where I can already smell the intoxicating aromas of a home cooked meal. First thing in the morning, my cousin and I grab our sand battered bikes, and start pedalling on the boardwalk to the beach. I’m careful on the narrow wooden platform, with the painful reminder of when I fell off into the brush. We hop off our bikes
An island vacation in Hawaii is guaranteed to be the trip of a lifetime – and your children will likely remember the experience long into adulthood. You might start your vacation with a snorkeling tour, which is sure to be a hit with younger kids and adolescents. Another stop you’ll want to make is at the Maui Ocean Center (one of the top-rated aquariums in the United States). Other kid-friendly activities worth considering on Maui are whale watching, touring the area by helicopter, and zip-lining in the jungle.
Even though I was worried when we arrived here, I could still recognise that this island was beautiful. There were crystal waters and tropical palms. Sand that crunched beneath your feet and coral that decorated the ocean floor. Looks can be very deceiving though, Auntie. It didn’t stay beautiful for long and ever since we landed, I was praying that we would be rescued.
It was cool because we went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, something that I remember is when we were at looking at the elephants we were walked by a rhino statue and it sprayed my sister with water. We didn’t know that was going to happen, come to find out there was a sign that said it sprays water. Also we went to the Broadmoor hotel it was so cool. One thing about that hotel is that there things are very expensive, a small candy was$20. I was like oh my goodness.
We went on a few more rides. Twisted Colossus was amazing. We twisted 360˚ a few times and went on steep downhills. Roaring Rapids made us cold. We talked and screamed with kids from other schools as waves splashed us.
“I’m sorry Mommy, I promise I won’t do it again. Please forgive me.” this was all I could say. I had no excuse for my actions.
Last week I arrived at Hawaii or the Sandwich Islands and when I got there, all the native Hawaiians had poorly choice of clothes since it showed a lot of their skin. Since we were sailing for over 4 months, they were incredibly kind and nice to share how they live with some of my friends and me. My hair has grown down to my rib cage since the last time, I saw you my hair was only down to my shoulders. I have lost 21 pounds by just carrying heavy boxes and a printer and everything else off of the ship and eating scarcely. My bones were aching yesterday so, I asked the Hawaiians if they have any medicine. Unfortunately they didn’t, but the good thing was that the nurse we brought from the ship was in the next house and she had some. My friends
It is the final day in our year long voyage to the Hawaiian islands. “Land ho!” yelled the captain as we approach the island of maui the date is 1844,December,13.We make landfall as all the anshus sailors get ready to charge of the bout and towards the nearest solune before they can the captain yells we will refit our ships and supplies then be of for Japan. The captain estimated we would be here for a year because the ship was badly damaged from a storm on our voyage from massachusetts .As i step of the ship i can hear a familiar voice it was my brother James as we greet each other he explains to me that hawaii is not the lawless place that we dreamed due to the whalers before us.
Rollercoasters. We got to space Mountain and we must have rode it 10 times because I was having so much fun that we kept going back again and again. Then we went to splash mountain which is a water version of space mountain, i got soaked along with my dad, he had to sit up front where he got soaked the most. My dad and I decided we needed to get some food so we went to this one
Over spring break this year, I went to Hawaii. I’d been wanting to go to Hawaii for a long time. Hawaii is a very beautiful place. The culture is fascinating, and the scenery is just beyond words. Everywhere you turn, there’s a gorgeous view. It is what I imagine as pure paradise. It’s quite a contrast from the corn fields of Illinois. We went to the island of Oahu, and we stayed at Disney’s Aulani resort, due to my sister’s love of anything dealing with Disney. Throughout the trip, I viewed many beautiful mountains covered in greenery from top to bottom, felt the sand between my toes as I strolled along warm and sunny beaches, and admired the culture that is so fun, festive, and different from normal life here in Illinois. Even though Hawaii
We were in the middle of the desert, basically having no sense of direction whatsoever. Riding down the coastline of a twenty-mile island off the coast of Venezuela. Not knowing where to go was an issue but my brother, Ben, and I were on the ATV zooming through the desert seeing various attractions throughout the trip. Watching animals run everywhere, experiencing the views of little beaches with huge waves it was like a dream come true.
We stayed on the second largest island Oahu and we took a day trip to the biggest island of Hawaii to see the volcanoes and some other
