Elsewhere, Prince Fabian Wylie paces anxiously throughout the king’s study, awaiting news on the whereabouts of King Robert. The King has been missing for hours; no one has seen nor heard from him since supper.
Fabian looks to the door and asks the one that was entering, “Any news?”
First Commander Cipher marches past him to the king’s desk. He scours through the documents lying on top of it, searching for clues to the king’s whereabouts, but found nothing useful. “No,” he finally answers, scowling his brows. “I have ordered the men to expand their search further south.”
“South?” Fabian echoes. “Do you think he has traveled that far?”
“I don’t know any more of what to think,” Cipher professes. “All I know, is we need to find him.”
“What would

“Sir,” he says, interrupting them. “One of the scouts reported seeing a rider matching the king’s description, riding through Great Fall Forest.”
“Is it the king?” Cipher quickly asks.
“They couldn’t tell.”
“Have the men captured the rider…” he abruptly stops when he sees the expression the second commander has given him.
“Due to the terrain,” the second commander speaks, “they’ve lost sight of the rider and his horse.”
Cipher takes a deep breath. The stress of losing the king has taken its toll on him. His eyes drift to the papers on the king’s desk. “If it were him…what reason would he have to be in the woods so late at night?” he ponders, aloud.
“He might be searching for the Devine,” Fabian said. “I heard he too has left the castle.”
Cipher eyes him, before glancing back to the second commander.
“Take some men with you and find the Devine,” he c. “Ask him, if he has seen the King.”
“Wait,” Gabriel voice, turning his body to the second commander. “I want you to bring the Devine back to the castle.” His eyes slid to his uncle as he chose his words carefully. “I still have some unanswered question for him to answer about the

“Let’s hear what he has to say before condemning him.”
“You two can go and break bread with the mentally unhinged, King Robert…”
“What about the pledge we made to stand together as one?”
“I will always stand beside my brothers,” Gabriel maintains. “But I refuse to watch Robert mentally deteriorate.” He turns to leave, but Cipher stood in his path, blocking him.
“Kingsman,” he hollers, as several gather behind him with the second commander standing directly behind Gabriel. “Escort Prince Gabriel to the dining room, and if he refuses to go, have the servants make him a bed in the dungeon.”
“You can’t do this!” a stun Gabriel argues.
Cipher sighs, standing face to face with his fuming royal nephew. “It’s been a long day, and I am tired. And right now, I don’t have enough patients to deal with the craziness in this family.” He takes a step back, allowing two large Kingsman to pass. He watches Gabriel’s movements carefully, as the Kingsman surrounds
In the short story “The Most Dangerous Game” written by Richard Connell the story is mainly about richard finding out that general zaroff hunt humans. At first richard finds hunting humans a problem because he considers it murder but then close to the end rainsford wants to turn the tables and hunt General Zaroff because he has found the fun in hunting humans. This paper is being written because their was a difference in the characters in the movie and the book and this paper is going to explain those differences. For instance in the book you can tell that General Zaroff and Rainsford were way more passionate about hunting. The book even goes as far to say that Rainsford loved hunting like a sport and that all he did was hunt , but in the movie He is too worried about Eve to focus on the true issue at hand. The characters have a difference in the way the act when comparing the book and the movie. This side of the argument can be proven because there were things in the story that didn't even happen in the book. For instance in the movie there were two people that never appeared in the book. One was a female named Eva and the other was a man and nobody even knew his name. On the other hand in the book there was only the main characters , General Zaroff , Rainsford , Ivan , and Whitney. Another statement that will prove my point is that in the book Rainsford was playing the role of the fox when General Zaroff was hunting him which
"A lot of your men are dead my dear Count. Don't worry I assure you that when this army reach the Southern Isles, there will be very few of your men in it. We will need to make a lot of rearguard actions to protect our retreat and that means a lot of casualties."
King incorporates a myriad of stylistic devices that shape and develop the theme of the passage in the book. Through the periodic use of rhetorical questions such as,
“I don’t understand…why hasn’t King Gabriel told them to stand down?” Pierce asks Vincent. “At this rate, we’ll all be ripped apart, before we make it to the gates.”
I think here is safe. How could this have happened to us? What has my father ever done wrong to meet such terrible fate? Who would have ever done such a thing to my father, a brave warrior and a noble man who always acted on his beliefs and was honest and loyal to those he held dear. Revenge, it is all I seek now my once incarnadine heart has been soured, ripped from my chest and quelled. But how can I gut the heathen like a cony when I do not know thy name? I shall carry out my father's will of vengeance as soon as the killer
“Of course you didn’t mean for this to happen. Bizarre things like this aren’t meant to happen, but the king is dead.” I said looking him straight in his tear filled eyes. I saw the look of apprehension clearly taking over his mind. “If it hadn’t been for you, he would still be
As he walked away, she couldn’t help but feel hope, hope that Gabriel was still in there. Blinking behind him, she wrapped her arms around him. “Please, stop,” she begged softly. “Please, if you must kill us for what happened, then kill us, but don’t hurt innocents, please…”
“Well, I heard that Richard, your arch-enemy, is planning a comeback and is now getting the support of the people. He has aroused the people to form an army and join him to overthrow Your Majesty! What should we do?” cried the servant despairingly.
Percival and Gwaine skulked across the room and hid behind the screen, half-standing, half-crouching, waiting. As Gwaine predicted, moments later, Sir Leon entered. Save the clink of Leon dropping his chainmail and onto the bench, the armory remained quiet.
“Nevertheless some of our scouts have not returned, so we must assume they are close behind.”
Nobody wants to hear that, me least of all” (Hooper, 2010). Also, “I am not a King, I am a naval officer. I’m not a king, I’m not a king” (The Kings Speech, 2010). The psychological effect his brother abdicating had on him, was enough to send him back to Logue for more therapy.
The man held up both his hands and started to speak. “I once saw a man with fiery eyes, traveling north. Have you seen him?”
The prince was a tall, young man with watchful blue eyes and long coppery hair. He had gone impulsively to hunt. Ian could think of nothing like responsibility or duty. He could only think of leaving the palace for an hour or a day. The company had met the king's messenger half-way across Sirle. The message was accompanied by a troop of guards to make sure that Ian did not ignore it. Come home, it said tersely. Now. Ian was not surprised, and he was too weary to fend for himself. So he let fortune, in the shape of the king's guards, bring him back.
“Aww! But I wanted to eat. I’m starving.” I pout up at him. He chuckles and drags me out to the balcony. We jump to a window and wait outside. About an hour later I hear Ciel call Sebastian. He goes in first and knocks everyone out while I untie Ciel. They have some conversation about lying but I don’t listen. All I can think about is the symbol on one of the men’s chests. It’s the Rose cross of the Black Order. ‘Are they back Uncle?’
"My men have just returned from the mountains in search of the assassin," he trailed off. I feigned a look of interest. I already knew there was no assailant to be found. To be frank, I was rather irritated I'd need to exhaust so many resources to search the mountains for a ghost.
