Country Music Analysis

In my experiences with the song, I’ve gotten the sense of deep thought; the kind of thought one could get from listening to a classic piece most of the time. With this deep thought, I have gotten lots of emotion from this piece. Whether it be from the intended meaning behind the production of the song , or my own personal meaning I have inserted into the song as I listen to it. It gives the mind set to rethink myself, whether it mentally, physically, or emotionally.

A composer can win the award for Best Original Score, Best Scoring Adaptation, Best Original Song Score, just to name a few. Although the composers’ names are often overshadowed by the film title, their work stands on Its own. This overshadowing is similar to many of the great classical composers’ relations to their works. “Moonlight Sonata” is one of Beethovens’ most popular pieces; however, you could argue that it is so popular that many people today have no idea that it is composed by Beethoven. Likewise, John Williams has been nominated for an Academy Award 50 times and has scored numerous famed films. The most celebrated being the Star Wars series, Superman, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, the Indiana Jones series, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, and Jaws. An individual doesn’t have to watch these films to recognize the theme songs. Many critics and music enthusiasts credit the 1977 Star Wars score as the beginning of a grand symphonic revival. In the movies, there are a number of factors that will impact the quality of the film and the story. This is because producers and directors are using different techniques that will enhance their ability to entertain. The Sound of Music is taking numerous ideas and is integrating them together. To me, I think the music contrast with the words very well. The songs is very lyrical and the music is not that important. However, the upbeat and rhythmic music does give color to the song by setting a driving pace.
