I Think corruption starts within organizations is when There are no authority checks and balances that effects the mindset and integrity of The employees who are in high management positions and also working within the any department of a government sector or business. With the economy growing in many states corruption decreases because jobs are able to pay people well and not below what the job position requires. Many factors play when it comes to corruption because it starts from home so a family or person can live well and a major factor can be the strength of the state presidency office if, the presidency for the state is not strong and showing good change to help the state in bad times people start to lose motivation and practices that things will get better and decide to take things in their own hands as for corruption.

The balance of function in the United States were very conflicted during the Civil War time period. State governments wouldn’t agree with the national governments and vice versa. The Executive, Judicial and Legislative branches also were corrupted for a while with presidents allowing their friends become officials and also with the corrupt banking going on in the Jackson era.

The Progress movement or as many refer to as the Progressive era, was a time frame where Americans joined in varying groups to advocate reform across the United States. To elaborate, Progressives believed in widespread change for child labor, industrialization, government, racial reform, and women’s rights. Countless stories of corruption in these areas were brought to light in the Progressive era mostly due to the published writings of Muckrakers. Muckrakers, were journalists who wrote for popular magazines that attempted to expose corrupt political activities from their investigative journalism. Furthermore, I will discuss and compare these groups and their attempts for changes in the rights of child labor, women, acknowledgment of corrupt government practices, racial relations, and industrialization reform.

America has become distorted with the rise of television. The glory that this country once held and the virtues that it once stood up for have vanished. In a mere 89 years, generations of righteous men have gone through a gradual change and have become deformed to indolent boys. With television, has come the downfall of the righteousness of America. Tulia, a small town in Texas of just under five-thousand people, is a frightening example of how the judicial system is governed solely by racism as well as one corrupt man’s word. Of the forty-six people arrested, thirty-eight were African-American, furthermore all were convicted. The remaining seven arrested where know to associate more with the black community than the white in Tulia as well. With the towns income levels averaging at or below the poverty line, most arrested could not afford to hire a good attorney that cared or had the time to care, left therefore with one provided by the state. Consequently, convictions were up to ninety years in jail for allegedly selling three and a half grams, more commonly known as an eight ball, of cocaine in drug-free zones. Throughout human history, there has been corruption all over the world and of course different types as well, no doubt that each country has some form of corruption but it is at its worst in Latin America. This dreadful act is at its time high and it's not going down anytime soon, most of these Latin American countries lack of democracy, but instead have a dictator ruler. Corruption among official is abuse of power for their own self gain. According to Americas Market Intelligence “Latin American countries were characterized by having weak democratic institutions and authoritative governments, the perfect combination for the spread of corruption” they also mention the adverse effect corruption has on these countries, the high levels of corruption experience lower acceptance of established institutions, defaulted court system that cause a political instability,lower quality of public infrastructure and expenditures on education and health.There website also mentions that there is a direct correlation between corruption growth of the informal economy and the spread of illicit activity in the form of organized crime and illegal cartels.

The government is responsible for dealing with civil servants who engage in extortion and corruption but it is businesses and individuals who offer inducements to civil servants to obtain certain advantages. Generally, in Mexico the government and the drug traffickers are responsible for eliminating corruption.

The limiting factor in these procedures is the inability to control extraneous variables such as pre-existing inclinations to corrupt behaviour. In order to determine causation rather than just correlation between power and corruption, researchers realized that in addition to manipulating power exogenously they needed to conduct tests that gauged inclinations to corrupt behaviour or lack there-of. Many studies have also measured the hormone profiles of participants to see if these profiles had any significant impact on results. Once these base assessments were analyzed, researchers were able to recognize which participants had
